If some you want smoother boot, add subdivision modifier and if some edges look sharp, make sure your normals are facing the correct way (in edit mode -> A -> shift + N

i cant UV unwrap the laces even if i convert it to mesh

how do you parent all of the pieces of the character together?

You'll use an armature, and make the armature the parent of each object. But make sure you retop each object that we sculpted before trying to rig it. Those videos are coming shortly.
