For sure. People only need slow tutorials for a certain number of tutorials. Like maybe 20 tutorials and after that, at some point you have the buttons down, and not you really just want creative new concepts and procedures and tricks that you wouldnt think of on your own. The faster those can be communicated the better. If you do get stuck on a part, you can always just look up the answer.
@luminousdragon5 жыл бұрын
@Abdul Mtoro III You are probably pretty new to blender, so this tutorial might not be the best place to start.. I would say that the point of this tutorial is to give you a quick concept of how to do this. You arent supposed to follow along with him. If you are a mid level blender user, you should be able to watch this video all the way through with blender closed, then close the video and open blender and recreate it. If you cant do that yet, then there is thankfully a huge amount of tutorials out there for newer users. I have a play list with about fifty, and actually I have a private playlist with another 300. Most of them go at a much slower pace which i appreciated at first, but as my experience grows, I dont need to know ever button that is being pressed, I know where the buttons are and i can tweak the values to my liking, so over time a higher percentage of the tutorials are simply wasted time for me. Its nice to have the fast tutorials that dont hold your hand and just give you the concept, which is all i need. If you arent there yet, go do 30 slower tutorials and come back here. You will then be very grateful.

Depends on what are you doing this for. If it is for a 20 seconds long video in some indie movie - better make it very smart and fast. Yeah there's DEFINITELY times you want to do stuff by hand and really put the time in. I really like these videos and appreciate them, they take a topic and explain the general workflow without bogging down the video with a lot of details.

Holy cow man, these are incredible. I'm an old hand at AE, but after giving up on the idea that C4D will ever be an affordable subscription model (know basic C4D enough to be dangerous) - just getting started in Blender but these are so encouraging, amazing results. Thanks!
