Really nice and useful video! Are you use any software for buttons and mouse monitoring while work or this is added after?
@tokiFX7 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Petar Todorov. I used Blender old screencast key add-on which have been remove from Blender for awhile due to some error it cause such as some key stroke does not show. But you still can download it via a link below. I used it for extra information to let viewer have a clue of what I'm doing since my video does not contain vocal narration, and all earlier video are time lapse. But yet you guys still manage to watch it, sorry about that at the first place. :P I plan to add Subtitle/CC to all earlier video sooner or later. Hope it'll will help you guys out. Hi. How'd you get Matcaps to work in Cycles? Thx.
@tokiFX8 жыл бұрын
+Jacques Kloppers, in Properties (N) under Shading, check Matcap to active it. I hope this is what you looking for and thanks for watching my video.
@DigitalCapeTown8 жыл бұрын
Nope, all i have under Shading is a tick box for Backface Culling. Maybe it was disabled in 2.77 release. thanks.
@tokiFX8 жыл бұрын
+Jacques Kloppers, are you in wireframe mode? Because that's what you got when you in wireframe mode. You can switch to solid mode those option will show.
@DigitalCapeTown8 жыл бұрын
+toki FX Oh right, I see now - Object mode and solid draw mode then it becomes available. thanks.

How did you checker select at 2:48?
@tokiFX6 жыл бұрын
1. In Edit Mode, set selection method to Edge Selection. 2. Edge Ring (Alt + Right Mouse Button/Left Mouse Button) to select a row of edges. 3. Checker Deselect: Offset by 1. (Checker Deselect can be found at Select Menu below view port.) 4. Edge Loops (Ctrl + E to call out Edges Menu, and Edge Loops can be found at to bottom of the list.) 5. (X or Delete) to call out Delete Menu, and Dissolve Edges to reduce amount segment of "Spline". This is one of my old video is time-lapse version, perhaps you can set speed to 0.25 and toggle Subtitles to help you out. Thanks for watching, and happy Blending. :)

Interesting :D One issue, and I may have missed it, but how is the chair held together...?
@tokiFX8 жыл бұрын
+Tower CG, you didn't miss any part, I never separate every curve into individual object. And if what you means is refer to real world reference, you have to ask the manufacturer how they held together. :P This is the link about the chair: www.piegatto.com/en/pipo-chair-2/

I imagine if a seat like that was made and a fat person sit on it. It will probably break/bent... Next project a rocking chair that rocks...
@tokiFX7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, totally agreed with you, luckily I only made it in 3D software. But someone I believe made it in real life, perhaps you can send your message to them. Below is the link of their web site. :p www.piegatto.com/en/pipo-chair-2/
