I love this. It’s so cute. Carrie (this_chef_dips) just did a video and she found getting the brush wet with some base gel before applying helped the streaking go away.

Thank you, I actually did do this (you’ll notice my brush is wet before dipping into the polish) Perhaps I didn’t use enough gel base 🤔

When first used these I did not use the base coat tip, actually I use this polish kinda like a hard gel/ acrylic where you take a big glob of it and work it down the nail. This is already fairly thin, so you don’t have to worry about your nail being bulky. It again works just like hard gel where you take a glob of it and pull it down. I love this.

Such a beautiful mani! All the spring and Easter vibes! I can totally see where they would be amazing for nail art over full coverage.

I saw a video where they used a little base coat to prep the brush before using the solid gels, might help the streaks.

How do you remove gel cream polish?

Pure Acetone is the best/easiest. You can also choose to use a gel remover like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHzFc4urfpmog5I

Ok- so your nails look so beautiful! Such a great mani! Also- i love the idea of this pudding gel in minis! Such a great package, and i rarely use all of one color, this is a great option. Maybe even for travel, or going to do mani on your friends/ family at their place. Maybe i do need this! 😊

I’ve been a nail tech for years and obviously I’ve bought and used many different products acrylics to gels to fiberglass to etc .. but i got the nude set in this & i can’t get them to work i can’t get it to smooth out.. I found it streaky I love the colors. I tried different brushes idk .. I like modelones products it took me forever to finally try them out but i just don’t know about these solid gels.. maybe it’s something I’m doing
@CaroleAnnette Жыл бұрын
I learned I was doing something wrong in this video. I originally used the brand new brush provided. A dry, new brush. I’ve since learned I have to prep the gel brush using gel base coat to get the bristles wet with gel, so it’s ready for color. This has definitely helped prevent streaking in my solid gel application.

I don’t remember for sure - but I usually do when applying gel polish.
@shelznailz76782 жыл бұрын
I think if you used a base coat and prepped your brush with base coat so the brush isn't dry and leaving streak marks....it would've made a big difference!! I always use base coat for any gel polish application and I have always prepped my gel brushes with base coat!! It works

The Sol dip builder gel in the pot the base pink is seriously very very beautiful and love the sheerness but it does have a good coverage, also have you done a milky look with the builder gel? Like a peekaboo glitter or marble or with flowers in it. I think it would be so stunning with the gel. Also is it HEMA free or whatever it is for allergies lol
@CaroleAnnette2 жыл бұрын
I really want to do a peek-a-boo style. I tried it once and didn’t love how I did it, so I need to practice some more. Maybe starting with builder gel for the milky look would be best.

Hey Carole 👋🏾 If you check out “this_chef_dips” (Carrie) YT video that she just put up, you will see that she mentions me in the video because before she actually posted the video, she posted that she would be doing a video on this product and I commented that I had used Vettsy’s pudding polishes, which are just like these, and Vettsy posted a Pro Tip on how to use these so that they don’t streak. If you dip your brush in a little clear gel base coat and wipe off excess, then apply the pudding polishes, you won’t have issues with streaking. It worked amazingly for me and if you watch Carrie’s video, you will see how she talks about how much easier the application was after trying the gel base coat tip. It’s a game changer I’m telling you!! Give it a try and let me know what you think!!
@CaroleAnnette2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I actually did do this (you’ll notice my brush is wet before dipping into the polish)
@Ms2unique4u2 жыл бұрын
@@CaroleAnnette Hmmm 🤔 I would try adding a bit more of the clear gel base coat, perhaps you removed too much. If you put some clear gel base coat on a palette and dip the brush in and then dip the brush in the pudding polish and apply, but each time you dip in the pudding polish, you should apply a little more of the clear gel base coat as well. It definitely worked for me and absolutely changed the experience for Carrie (this_chef_dips).
