Cool setup, isn't the Macbook blocking the speaker on the right? I don't think you can get an accurate sound reference from the speakers when the MacBook is been a sound shield right in front of it. get a longer thunderbolt cable and put the MacBook on top of the Alex drawer

Nice setup. One thing, never plug power bar into power bar. You can overload the wire rating of the original power bar plugged into your outlet.

In your experience Andres, are ikea butcher-boards strong enough to support multiple monitor arm-mounts? (Worried the clamps might damage the particleboard long-term).

Hey I got the lagkapten top from ikea and installed a 27inch monitor with a similar monitor arm and there was a dent in the table just the next day and the whole arm was bending. He used a different model but I won't trust particle boards with monitor arms again
