I never played DnD, but one time me and my group couldn’t open a door so we burned the entire town down to leave that building
@monkeyboy440813 күн бұрын
I remember when a group of us couldn't figure out we needed to pull a door open so we tried grabbing one of our fellow players and use them as a battering ram. Lucky to say, we failed our strength checks for picking him up. His brain remained intact that day, though I cannot say the same for our intelligence 😅

A group I was in couldn't figure out that we needed to apply blood to a statue, and the way we solved it unintentionally was by the cleric stripping nude and hugging the statue and given how it was like half an hour on this one puzzle, the DM just said "fuck it, you graze yourself on the statue and you're bleeding now" so the now bleeding cleric who is hugging the statue would've "bled" on the statue opening the path

This reminds me of my group's most recent session. We were locked in a room with a mirror and some cryptic text (dont remember what it said), and one by one, the torches in the room were going out. We were all freaking out trying to figure out what to do. We tried breaking the mirror, grabbing one of the torches off the wall, looking at our reflections, and so on. There was no puzzle. All we had to do was wait.
@prophetzarquon192213 күн бұрын
When I was a kid, we played a dungeon where the crypt slammed shut behind us & when we got to the bottom, our torches went out. We couldn't relight them, & dispel didn't do anything, so we proceeded on what I think was a light spell from the cleric... We all asphyxiated.
@mathmusicandlooks12 күн бұрын
@@prophetzarquon1922I’ve had the same idea for a dungeon for my friends… do you think if I included some randomly dead giant spiders along with the extinguished torches that it would be enough to signal to a party of 30-year olds that the “air” isn’t safe?

@@mathmusicandlooksmaybe unnaturally pale plants? (Chlorine gas bleaches pigments.) Note: Though some plants may not turn out white, as Roses turn yellow. And Blue pigments are rare in nature, so basically 99% of blue plants that exist IRL would be unchanged. The oops all bone-white plants thing is spookier and clearer though.

A yes, the quantum USB problem. The USB has an up position and a down position. Until the inside is observed, the USB will remain in a superposition of both up and down positions. You have to observe the inside of the USB to quantum lock the USB into one of the positions (up or down). Only then will the USB be able to quantum tunnel into the USB port.

I did the equivalent of a dnd puzzle solve at an escape room lmao. We were a group of 2 and the puzzle mustve either been designed by tall people with long arms or for more than a group of 2. There was a medium broom closet sized room with buttons in the bottom right corner, the top right corner (z axis), and the top left (y axis). I had to move a robotic arm with the right and left top corner buttons, but hold onto the bottom right button to activate a magnet. The buttons on the outside of the room were the x axis controls. I controlled the top left corner buttons by kicking over my head and holding my leg up to press the buttons while holding the magnet button with my hand.
