Cool reaction, Ren is 34 now and still in treatment in Canada (clearly much better than before, but not fixed), so he has been going through this for 15 years since he was 19. He has often said how hard it was losing his prime 20s years when his friends were going out but he couldn't take part in life..think I'm right saying this closes off the sick boi album and now he moves on to what he is calling Slaughterhouse. But like you said what a great message of hope for anyone who is still in the dark and struggling, and also to try and raise awareness

I’ve always said this myself that I’m thankful for what I have to go through that’s mostly because I’m a father and if I didn’t go through what I did I could of been a nasty individual pushing my mindset onto my children, that’s where I’m thankful even though I still suffer each day, but if I didn’t have my children I might of gone down a different lane, possibly a dead end. For anyone who reads this stay strong and true to yourself no matter the struggles, one day we all will find peace

🖤🖤🖤🤙🤙💯 fantastic deep divin as usual my friend :) i was curious if you had watched ren and sam tompkins video "improvising around stevie wonder" its not one that requires an analysis but a fun and impressive video of them busking on the street at night. Or if you ever wanna venture to solo sam, he has some songs that are so special and beautiful kinda beyond words tbh . "Lose it all" live with piano and he has backwards blue hat on, or " hero" live at hammerfall , "phones in heaven " live at the champ . All amazing:) shoot knox hill is rens homie now too and a fellow reactor , his new song "best of myself " is besutiful and was filmed by rens video guy sam perry-falvey :)

You've done your research! I only have about a dozen or so album songs left, most of which are on Sick Boi and that album doesn't really work well with this channel. The rest of the songs seem to be remixes and the like which also don't really fit on my channel. If the 120 or so that I have left, there's really only half a dozen that may make sense. That's my interpretation... I'm can be convinced otherwise.

The 8 chapters everyone is referring to is basically an autobiographical account of his life from 19 on. It's written in descriptive novel style and read to the audience on video. He was in debilitating pain for most of the 7-8 yrs always looking for answers. His bipolar diagnosis was only at the beginning. 2 yrs after that he was told he didn't have bipolar or depression. In 2011 he was diagnosed with M.E./CFS. After years of his own online medical research, blogging, support groups and much more, he attributed his symptoms to children who got autism from PANDAS and how antibiotics helped them return to normal. He figured out by himself that what he had was bacterial , sought a renowned Dr. who specialized in M.E. who then diagnosed him with Lyme late 2015. More stuff that led him to the stem cell transplant in 2016. It's a fascinating, raw, detailed and vulnerable account of those years. He never gave up always teetering between despair and hope.

His story given in 8 chapters on his other channel, Ren Makes Stuff, goes into great detail. Fans and most reactors have decided they are collectively a must see, but not a must react situation. I’d rather rewatch the chapters (and have rewatched the whoke thing several times and some chapters even more) than watch others react to it If somebody did a live view I might make the effort to watch it with others. .

Yea the chapters are great. They describe his story from the end of his friend Joe over becoming ill, getting and losing the contract with Sony, via his odyssey through various diagnosis and treatments to becoming at least better after his stem cell treatment. Very personal and emotional videos. Even if you thought you understood Rens songs beforehand, you understand them even better afterwards and they become even more intense. In chapter 4 Ren tells the story about cutting a hole into his chest.

Anyway Derek I really have been wanting to tell you How truly beautiful of a human you are. You are doing what I believe is your purpose on this spinning ball, I feel this way bc of your ability to simplify what we have been taught (polarized) in deterrence to whats going on. You also can explain things in a way that all people can understand and relate to in their own lives that are on any intellectual level.
