Modern, Easy to Navigate and Empty Split Airport

I should say "easy to navigate" once you are actually at the check-in counters. It is a l-o-n-g way from the parking lot. Split Airport is deader than a wake during Covid when we fly out. And I don't know why Security makes me take sandwiches from hotel and partially unwrap! Do I seriously look like the type of person who smuggles explosives in a ham sandwich?

I think that most travelers end their trips in either Zagreb or Dubrovnik which has much busier airports? Thanks, Daniel. Hope you still didn't have any vaccine side effects 👍

@@SheilaSimkin no i meant empty😂 my bad im an idiot, why does it seem so empty in july? Also, did you by any chance travel from split town to the airport? Because I have an early flight in mid july (10 am) and im just looking for advice. Once again, sorry i meant why is it so empty

@@James-rc6qq good question! perhaps because people weren't traveling yet during covid and it was mostly locals driving around croatia. And if I remember correctly, you may want to stay 1 night in Trogir? Only 5 minutes to the airport kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6qlf4NuftiBhqc We visited gorgeous Trogir on a day trip and if I had done more research, good have stayed there for 1 nite and then gone to airport. Think about it... I'm sure you'll have a great trip!
