Hey guys! I'm Alexandra Gater and I show you how to do rental-friendly upgrades and DIY projects on a budget. Today I'm tackling a very narrow entryway that opens up into the living room space. That was the best entryway design I've seen. Everyone will be copying. Putting hooks under the shelf makes the coats and bags feel like a feature. And you brought so much warmth to a very sterile-feeling space. 💯

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzbin.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

I never thought I would freak out over a shoe cabinet until I saw this video. Graham is the GOAT, and I’m obsessed with the scalloped runner on the stairs; I never would’ve thought to do that. Those were things in this makeover that made me gasp. I also laughed at the “we’re at finishing touches?! Holy s*it!” That was hilarious. I loved this video; it was a joy to watch, and the final result was amazing. Entry ways deserve to be beautiful too.

Wow! What a transformation! If you all you did was change the tile, that would have made a huge impact. The old tile was a bit garish. The shoe cabinet is beautiful. The runner on the stairs adds so much depth to the stairs. It’s all perfect!

I just got those exact floor tiles for my kitchen! I hadn’t seen anyone else do that combination before. I used to work for WallPops and they’re a great company! I was there when they were developing the tiles and I saw all the different iterations of the materials before they got it ready to produce!

Fun fact Alexandra: Using tiles diagonally was a favoutite device of the great Neoclassical architect and designer Robert Adam. Diagonally laid tiles makes a small space feel wider.

Hi, each week I look forward to your videos. I am subscribed for the past few years. I need a Graham in my life and of course an Alexandra Gather team. Thanks for being so practical. My husband feels like running away at times when I start dreaming and moving things around in our house.
