It's in the middle of the night in a snowy Scandinavia. I'm binge watching your channel and you almost got me forget that I'm having a fever. I really love this type of content, when we get to see so much of the decor in these rooms. Also the slow mode, when you stop for a while i different areas, feels really calming and we have the time to see what you created. And yes; you should tell Jack he's handsome... and funny. I have been doing the black and white theme in my new home, with a touch of wood, I am loving it, Thank-you for the inspiration, I was a little nervous about painting the walls black, but I must say it is stunning, my girlfriend and her man came over Christmas night, she was in WOW, and said she loves the black walls.

Love the minimalist style. Love the black and white. People think I am crazy to want so much white and black. I am not sure I enjoy the greenery yet. I have never staged with either faux or real greenery but you do it so well. Thank you for the tour.

I totally get what you are saying about your house. That's how I feel about our house. I love the lamps instead of the overhead lighting, the diffuser, and the soft furnishings. I walk through the main area and just feel happy. Next weekend I get to host family and I'm looking forward to it!

Thank so much for your comment. Here’s the answer to your question, you don’t have to! You can play with things, move them around into different rooms. There are rules but I say break them and feel free to play with your stuff. We just moved a dresser into our breakfast room and I love it! Have fun Janice!

You nailed it once again, I love this elegant and cosy style. I always thought you definitely did well to leave the wall to keep this space separate from the main living room. I am French and live in Europe, we probably have a different approach of the open concept. I think that, whether in a big and beautiful house like yours or in a smaller appartement, it is necessary to create different spaces, where people can gather or isolate themselves.
