Been watching Dave Gorman for the first time for about week and a half, and I just love the extra mileS he goes for his jokes. The amount of effort and creativity is just amazing.

He almost certainly will have given permission to whomever is running it to upload them, but it being the official Dave gorman channel does not mean he is personally running it. He *might* be, something for him to do during lockdown, but I doubt it.

The best thing about the "Found Poems" is that the Quartet is able to play and laugh at the same time 😆 Lucky they play stringed instruments.. Woodwind can't do that.. you laugh and you can't play anymore !😂

Not sure if this has been suggested, but is it possible that knowing he had cold sores, Alex Reid was reluctant to shake hands so as not to possibly pass them on? A fist or elbow bump has lately become much more acceptable due to Covid, so we could give Mr Reid the benefit of the doubt. He was married to Katie Price; he's suffered enough :)

Hmmm. I wonder if Dave has re-thought his views on hand shaking now that we all live in Covid-world? Of course he has, because Dave is proper smart ... Although, we can shake hands so long as no-one gets offended by the other shaker immediately washing and/or sanitizing their hand. Mind you, Eskimo 'kunik' and Maori 'hongi' and similar close (nose-to-nose) greetings will have to stay away for a while yet.

In the UK Guy Fawkes Night, is the most prominent use of Fire works in a year, and it is celebrated around the country. It is on the 5th of November, so the 6th is quite literally a day too late. This show was meant for UK consumption, with no intention of international broadcast, so it is quite natural that the jokes should be geared towards a UK audience.

You can't expect a comedian to make a joke, then immediately proceed to explain the joke to you. And really, a joke about Guy Fawkes isn't all that obscure, especially compared to all the other references Dave makes.

FOUND POEM ... the WORST part of every show ... if you cut them out & make the show shorter ; the show ends in a more hilarious way ... rather than ending the show with ( forced laughter ) . If a stranger came up to you in the street ... & recited THESE POEMS ... would you ... LAUGH or CRINGE ?
