I took the Costa CET1 class using the Modern Materiel Mod Mat ACE. I saw and felt the difference in build quality over my PSA and Aero Precision AR builds. When I add up the parts difference between my Sabre Defense M16A4 clone with the Geissele trigger the price is about the same but the MM is lighter and more capable. I spoke about the entire experience on my podcast (the 2nd is For Everyone(2A4E)podcast EP61). The Costa class and the carbine are both with the money.

Become a dual citizen and build up your guns and ammo stateside. Come here for training and vacations. One of my coworkers did this. He now works part of the year in the US and the other in Australia. The community he lives in(USA) has homeschooling center at his church. They have teachers teaching all grades. They do all sports and extracurriculars with the local schools too. Once his oldest becomes school age, his family will spend the school yr in the US and go to Australia for holidays and the summer. It is a cool idea. So when I see people from outside the US I like to regurgitate it.

Everyone seems to be pushing magnification of some kind, LVPO’s or magnifier (and they’ve got their reasons), but they’re you are in open country consistently rocking a red dot or irons (on a lever gun or two). Have you found to just not really need it? I’m consistently surprised by that but I do find it refreshing.

Hi Chris! I have an option to get either a CZ-75 SP-01 (manual safety version), Beretta 92A1 or M9A3 black. Which one would you suggest? My main requirements are durability and reliability but I have to say that the SP-01 feels much better in my hand. Thank you very much!
