MODERN NONSENSE: The absurd list of the world's tallest statues

C'mon. This is excessive. The statue of liberty is not even close to the biggest in the world... but if not the statue of liberty, what could it be?! You'll just have to watch and find out! In this video, I go over all of the tallest statues around the world: The five biggest statues, the figures most often represented in them, the religious statues and what they symbolize, and all of the ones that I just think are cool. Tall statues are cool, but the tallest one is just some random old man, that was a horrible choice IMO, no man on earth deserves such a worship (and that one in particular couldn't be more random)

Yeah, it would have been cool if it had been somebody or something made up, to remove bias, but I do think calling him a random old man is a bit reductive. He was the man who held India together, the largest nation in the world - The statue is less about him, and more about uniting the people of the subcontinent through secular democracy.

@@thehayze259 well there is a opinion holding Something tohether, real question is should it be hold together. India is place where is namy culture and many religions, people are different and why should se subjucated to same laws. SImilar thing is america where Union decided ah lets march south and as we go there to free slaves, lets also rob and murder locas and quncuer they land and subjucate the people to one rule. And then calling it holy day that should be celebrated. And this is also generalization couse america is full of different cultures who are forcefully mixed together by law and policys. ANd also goes to same cathegory. If we make big statues to roman warlords who expanded rome enslaved and rober and killed many people, wiped out the whole nations. it dosent matter if you do with pen and paper or sword. its still violation against people. ANd thouse things happen world is cruel place. But should we celebrate it?

Ignorance is a bliss eh ? That random old man is sardar vallabhbhai Patel. A man who stitched modern India together from the British occupied territory and 600+ monarchies in the Indian sub continent. That's why the statue is called the statue of unity. The farmers all over India donated their old farm equipment to build the steel beams of the statue.
