Really veeeeery niiiice O gauge trains running session, exactly what I like !!!!!! I like the mix of different manufacturers including the few ones from the 90's... I have a question: you have (for example) the brass J Class from Williams with a QSI (I think) sound system and certainly few Williams Trueblast sound equipped which run with several old or recent Lionel or MTH, so TMCC, Legacy or DCS... is your layout running in conventional or have you both systems ?!!! This question is important for me, because I have several models from the 90's and despite the fact that I agree for the continuous smoke, digital advantages (several trains on the same track), contant lighting even during reversing, etc. etc. etc. the conventional US system with horn & bell buttons seem enough for me... I have 2 Weaver loco which I li..... love :-) and the PS2 or 3 conversion is not cheap and is it really NECESSARY ?!... that is my dilemma ! If you confirm that your layout is simply conventional, this could be change my approach for my next O gauge layout...... Many thanks in advance and thanks also for the great KZbin videos :-)

Thanks! This was just filmed on a friend's O layout, but he is running a mix of TMCC, Legacy and MTH DCS. As far as I know, conventional isn't run on it much if any. You can get some TMCC components that allow for conventional running, so that might check the box you need. Per the N&W J, I do know that he had it sent off for a TMCC conversion with 4 cuffs..These seem to be a bit cheaper than the MTH retrofit kits, and may fit your budget better. I would look around online for someone to do the installs on the engines you really want upgraded.

May I ask. I am starting to get into HO trains and going to start a layout in a few months. Before I get the layout started I was wondering what websites/stores are good for getting locos and rolling stock of HO gauge?

Mike’s Coaster Adventures I always recommend checking out any train shops/shows in your area first, you can get your hands on products and find some great deals on used pieces- how I built up a decent collection over the years. Per the web, Model Train Stuff, Trainworld, and ebay are good spots. Sign up for emails from MTS/ Trainworld, they'll alert you to any sales/deals going on. Best of luck hunting!

Model railroading at its best! t he Norfolk and Western steam was Great! Well, that solves the question, why the railroads went broke! No people in the passenger cars. and because that was the last day to retirement for the Engine rand the railroad was going to screwhim out of his pension! so he crashed it1
