As a kid I wanted to be an architect. But then I met some real architects and found what they do very boring. So I studied something else instead😂

I've really been looking forward to this build! It looks absolutely incredible! It fits so well into the area, has a beautiful, futuristic eco vibe, and the plumbob-like green walls, too! Inside, it feels airy, open, and modern, like a space visitors would love to explore and where they would feel free to switch from one activity to another at any point. It's easy to tell, however, that you're not much of a family player, since there isn't that much to do for the youngest age groups. On the other hand, there are already so many great rec center builds on the gallery that do include lots of kid's activities, so there is enough to pick from. Your take is very refreshing, and the design extremely innovative, but not unrealistic.

Oh I thought the playground and activity tables are enough for the kids. Do you mean for toddlers and infants? Very happy you like the rest by the way. I indeed as always build a bit small-kid-hostile sometimes.

@Simproved Yes, I meant for infants and toddlers. But like I said: Your vision absolutely came through, and this place is beautiful. Not all rec centers have to cater to the littlest ones; this could also be a campus rec center of a college or university. 🤷‍♀️

This is an incredible looking build! I love the elevated splash pad, I’ve been struggling with how to place those items without it looking out of place.

Yes, they are definitely a bit wack. I just looked at the water items in the world and they placed them on a concrete ground with lots of different swooshes. So I thought I emulate it with this round-ish concrete elevation. Most of the time it's just looking at how the devs did it to get some ideas.

I think it is definitely possible to build more green. There are substitutes for cement and all that that make the build process more eco friendly. The vertical garden is a thing that exist, it is also not THAT expensive to build. However the upkeep is costly and that's what most don't want. the bigger the plants, the bigger the soil, the bigger the water amount it can hold and the more heavy it gets. I could go on and on about eco friendly building and planning. It's just a topic that interests me.
