Could you use the hook size that’s on the band if the wool thank you

Hi there, I personally wouldn't recommend it, unless the hook is the same as what the pattern says. The reason I wouldn't recommend it is because your stitches might come out tighter or bigger depending on the size of the hook. For this pattern, I chose a big hook because I wanted to create open loose stitches. If you were to use a different hook size, it might change the look of the blanket. I would recommend making a gauge swatch though, this way the pattern comes out the right way. 😊
