Good work on Sledgehammer, sounds and animations are getting better with every update. That bolt on kar98k is almost at Battlefield 5 level of eargasm

Great point, thanks for that. And after they nailed the reload animations for the k98k in vanguard. They some how upped it even more and made it easily the sexiest integration in a cod game

@@npne1253not the tac reload with stripper clips, in mw19 if you did a tactlical(non empty) reload you would always put in 3 rounds no matter how many you had in the magazine

It’s a mix of MW2019 and Vanguard’s Kar98k animations

@@chillglobe No. As mentioned in the original comment, this Kar98k uses MW2019 animations with altered inspect animations and additional attention to detail in its tactical reload animations without the Sniper Scope mounted. No animations from Vanguard is used here.

Oh weird, it’s like the Superi’s animations are switched between the Mag Holster / Fast Hands reload and regular, technique wise. The “slow” reload drops the mag entirely while the “fast” reload retains both

the fast hands animation actually drops the spent mag too. the operator did it by already having a new mag in hand. instead of relying on gravity to do the work he clasps the spent magazine and pulls it down, dropping it in the process then immediately inserts the new mag.

Gotta like how the disassembly button lifts up when you operate the gun, in other words the bolt should be coming right off every-time they rechamber a round.

The operator is just _very_ careful about how far they pull the bolt back, obviously

I see they fixed the partial reload with the Kar. Although I myself preferred Vanguard animation for the Kar, was a lil more smooth looking. Also noticed that because the animation is re used from MW, it lost that detail where the character would covered the ejection port with their finger to prevent a round from ejecting on partial reload.

I wouldn’t say it’s entirely fixed, as the operator seems to make no attempt to prevent the chambered round from being ejected. Also, what the hell is going on with the bolt stop?

@@epj0211 I did mentioned that though. Aside from the audio Vanguard was cooking with the Kar regarding its animation.

If you look carefully during the Kar's scoped fast hands reload you can kinda see the bullets "dropping out" of the bottom of the gun when fresh bullets are reloaded.

fun fact: the two new guns seems to be straight up un-inspectable if they're fully empty. i tried doing it to see if they did anything special but I could not inspect the guns when I ran out of ammo with them

Love the Kar animations, but why does the bolt racking animation after you shoot change when you have a scope on? That animation looks a lot worse than the regular ‘bolting’ animation without a scope. The gun should move around more when racking the bolt.

The CMMG Banshee which the Superi is based on uses a different system compared to a traditional AR-15

To be honest they didn't get enough time for inspect animations for the base gun and some DLC ones, it was only later on they started implementing them and fully realized in MWII.

I loved how they actually made it better on vanguard and mw3 aswell. This is the issue in mw19 that doesn’t have a logic to reload different in a different ammo left. They will put 3 no matter how many you shot for it, and atleast it has better sound effect than vanguard and mw23. Vanguard is just a downgarde and upgrade at the same time, the sounded received a downgrade that when player is cocking the trigger of kar98k. It sounded like, a m40a3 from cod4 which they 100% reused it from a 2007 game after 14 years aswell, Pretty much tho… and… Mw23 has a better reload animation and sound files that they kinda modernized and modified the sound effects and even the reload animations (and it seems like tho) but the reload somehow are better than other games just like mw22 (for a little bit only) Just like revolver, they reload it correctly

Imo, the quality of the weapon animations in MWIII ranges from mediocre to good. Probably because familiarity breeds contempt, we've seen those already over the last few games.

Vanguard had the best Kar98K animation since you actually had to cover the ejection port to prevent the chambered round from being ejected out of the gun on partial reload.

M8 I'm pretty sure you didn't even watch Vanguard animations at all. Even tho the game historically is for the most part inaccurate, I gotta give to it that the bolt action rifles animations are pretty accurate, and actually I'd say the Kar98K animation there is better than MWIII.

@@FerrariF1Seb05FanI mean, to give credit where it's due, the weapon animations in Vanguard are actually decent, apart from the tactical-ness, historical inaccuracies and awful sound design. Not sure if you're talking to me in your reply here, but judging by the original comment, we're talking about weapon animations in the MW reboot trilogy, despite both Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard are in the same universe with the MW reboot trilogy.
