The looping streaks are fun, but stacking can get out of hand. One game of Domination on Stash House last night turned into a constant stream of one guy calling in Swarms one after another, and ended up with 145 kills. Pretty insane. Also the JAK Thunder kit has one other noticeable feature: after holding down the trigger for a certain amount of shots, the recoil is significantly reduced (which is noticeable on the recoil comparison), essentially turning it into another AW weapon: the Pytaek LMG, which had a feature that after firing a certain amount of shots would then completely eliminate recoil for as long as you’re holding down the trigger. I’ll need to field test its effectiveness, but it is interesting. Seems like SHG REALLY wants to make AW2.

They definitely didn’t intend for it to become the Pytaek. I suspect it was an unintentional change, and because the fire rate ramped up pre patch, what the did to make it useable in the recoil department was make the “recoil control” stronger as it ramped up in fire rate so that way it didn’t feel like it lost any accuracy. It’s just the remnants of that. You can see it in Aces pre patch recoil comparison too

Now if you run killstreaks, two assits count as one kill, even from UAVs. If teammate gets a kill during your UAV, you get half point to your killstreak, which is kinda overpowered

My uav and advanced uav just kept giving me score streak points for free while I rained down hell on everyone. Every time I got done with a gunship I already had another one ready to use. For those unaware, the Renetti Semi Auto and Lachmann Shroud Full Auto kits are both. Renetti - 15 headshots with pistols. Shroud - 30 suppressed smg kills If you didn't know this, then you are welcome. It is just fun kits to try out at least once.

If im not mistaken a lot of the underbarrels that had a 10% boost to aim walking speed had that reduced to 8% (underbarrels like the edge bw4 handstop, chewk angled grip, ftac msp handstop...)

Looping streaks is great, but I don't think every 2 UAV, CUAV, AUAV assists or 2 kills with killstreaks count towards the next streak. I'm getting unlimited gunships off 1 gunship, or every 2-3 kills another advanced UAV. This is severely unbalanced. EDIT: Also it should NOT count towards DNA bombs and currently it is. I get mine super early because of it. Also DNA bombs are not earnable when you have the scorestreaks toggle on in the game's current state.

Plus the JAK Decimator and the JAK Intimidator are both in the game. The JAK Decimator for the Lachmann Shroud is actually a 4 shot up close which is insane. The JAK Intimidator allows the Renetti to be the classic M9 so I'm excited to hear your thoughts on these kits Ace

Stacking streaks is ridiculous; wonder if you can earn a nuke by chaining high-end streaks together...? Also think the JAK Thunder rework's silly, since it completely gets rid of what made the kit unique. Personally I would've cranked up the starting fire rate and implemented a mechanic where the Thunder will ramp back downwards towards its initial RoF after releasing the trigger. This way, if you keep getting into individual gunfights, you'll be partway through the RoF curve instead of back at square one.

Nukes in later CODs always required gun streaks (unlike the OG MW2), so doubt any sort of absolute tear in streaks you have going on will result in a nuke. Would be like the good old days, tho.

Agreed. I like that streaks loop (otherwise it's literally in your team's best interest to die so you can earn your streaks again, which doesn't make any sense), but I don't think kills made by streaks should count towards earning more streaks.

The patch notes stated the Rival-9 finally has access to the Trebuchet brake, except it seems to be mislabeled as a duplicate "Colossus Suppressor" and has no advanced stats. The model at least appears to be correct.

Yeah last night I noticed the stacking with killstreaks, got 87 kills on shipment using precision airstrike, SAE bomber, and remote turret looking from flag A towards the other side in domination. Got a complete team wipe 6 times with SAE.

I'm definitely a fan of the looping scorestreaks but just a bit conflicted on the streak stacking. It kinda sucks to have the opposing team call in swarm after swarm in but at the same time it works in my favour too. I actually managed to get some of the higher streaks (EMP, Gunship) that I had no hope of getting before season 4. Either way I'm having a lot of fun with the new streak system so I hope its here to stay

Unsure if anyone else dealt with it but when the esc requieter supressor was equipped, you'd lose access to the Mk. 3 reflector and the quarters classic reflex sight unless you had said optics equipped before putting on the supressor, tho it seems it was finally fixed with the season four update

truth be told, I hardly noticed the changes to looping and stacking streaks in the game since the update, but I am loving the changes to the aerial streaks having more health, as well as the buffs to the carpet bomb. There may still have been more streaks pre patch than any other call of duty I can think of, but having many of them be made of paper or bringing practically zero reward made the selection feel tiny

Looping streaks are cool, but can lead to frustrating if put on the other side of it. I think looping streaks should be a part of that streak vest, as a good incentive to equip it. Hell, make it so it's the only vest that stacks an effect. When using hardline, streak kills carry the same score as killing a player normally.

Streaks right now are in the best place they've been since 2009, I really hope it stays like this. Streaks before, especially with the SBMM in pubs, felt so weak and nearly impossible to earn in the first place. I would prefer to see adjustments to the anti-streak meta and score thresholds if anything.

I’m typically a pretty bad player but went 61-4 on shipment TDM because i literally had an endless loop of UAV, sentry gun and overwatch heli. Literally had an overwatch in the air the entire game because I’d get a new one before anyone bothered to shoot it down. The killstreaks chaining feels like a bug. Like, I got 63 score from an airstrike kill. That kind of odd number feels unintentional. That said, I'm having a lot of fun with the extra chaos of it all. Would absolutely play a dedicated mode of this when it get patched from normal playlists.

I like the AK change as I've been using it lately but i don't know if the AK's animations are still broken. The AK-47 was using the RPK running animations and i hated it. It also has this weird default empty reload that was totally off. Idk if they fixed the animations but having a buffed AK is genuinely amazing. I love how it feels like MW3, it just sucks it isn't one of the higher TTK guns anymore

The looping streaks is cool because lets say you got so many kills you managed to get 2 VTOLS(which is like 20 kills now) you can feel that satisfaction of kills paying off and not thinking “aww I’m on such a good killing streak but I used everything already”. Looping streaks is always good, as for Stacking streaks... either you're Predator or you're Prey. Somebody's gonna have a whole lotta kills and somebody's gonna have a whole lotta deaths. Knowing, they'll remove the stacking and keep the looping.

Feeling mixed about the JAK Thunder rework. On one hand, it makes the gun feel more consistent, but on the other, it's just a Battle Rifle with a drum magazine now. As for the looping streaks and what feels like integrated Kill Chain, I like it enough that it should be a main stay.

While is fun, I just had a game where one guy boosted the whole team with helicopters, he ended up with 80 kills when everybody only had 20 in average. Is fine as long as one team is capable to even walk without being killed by something. that guy had like 4 helicopters on his hands, and with the buff given to them, it was unstopable. Either keep the looping but return the helis to their previous status, or keep the buff and remove the looping.

i love the looped streaks. had 3 games with 130+ kills back to back before sbmm hit me. however, i do agree that the streak kills shouldnt count as much as a gun kill. that just allows camping and endless streaks.

I think this isn’t a bug but the new vest is very strong with score streaks since it adds the 125 meaning assists are essentially doubled in score (since they’ll add an extra 62.5 - 125/2). This is really strong with ddos since all status assists count with the vest meaning ddos assists also count. I’m not that good and have been farming streaks with this combo

Personally, I like the stacking and looping streaks. It makes your choice of streaks important to maximize the ease of getting to the maximum streak; however, I think streaks from the previous "loop" shouldn't stack for your next loop. Also, dying should always start a new loop.

I really enjoy the way killstreaks are looping and stacking, but I might say it's a little broken. Basically I noticed that if I die, my killstreak from the past life can still give me another streak on the current life, which is too overpowered. I think the best way to change it is that killstreaks only stack while they are being earned on the same life. Nevertheless I'm really enjoying this new mechanic.

Keeping looping streaks is a good idea imo, but being able to earn your next streak with streak kills on top of looping is not good. I had multiple games where I was able to earn a missile drone and loop back to my next missile drone with just kills from my missile drone. That’s just straight up unfair, I could basically earn unlimited missile drones and advanced UAVs.

Hopefully they see that looping and stacking streaks is literally the PERFECT way to have killstreaks work. They are objectively more fun this way, and EVERYONE is happy. NOT ONE reason to revert IMO. They just say "since you love it so much, keep it!" And we'd all cheer. The only drawback I have from this update is the REMOVAL of the MGB, I want both the DNA Bomb and the MGB simultaneously active. So I can call in DNA Bombs during the match, and then an MGB right at the end as a final blow and guaranteed win. That would be fun!
