Qtank009 longshot adverse is the way to go in warzone. Fire rate is subjectively the same; at range you’re going to connecting with just as many bullets as the normal adverse but the longshot adverse has much more manageable recoil at range you don’t really need an underbarrel imo so it frees up an attachment slot and you’ll be hitting more shots still. Some people really like the longshot adverse with commando foregrip though.

The logic they have makes no sense. I have issues still with hit reg in cod. My NAT Type is always open and running a wired connection. Yet I shoot people in the head and chest and I die first even when I engage them first for a good second before they even start shooting. The game is frustrating to say the least.

Probably for gameplay balance. You're already losing both damage and velocity. If it had the same or worst range then why not just use and SMG or Shotgun at that point.

What about the XRK LongShot Adverse barrel, that has a positive on Fire Rate, Damage Range & Bullet Velocity, shouldn't the negative from the Adverse be cancelled out because of this bonus, or is the negative, lessened? This is the one barrel I enjoy the most in-game.

Are ADS speed attachments bugged on this gun? I was just grinding this gun out, leveling it up the last hour or 2, and after unlocking the tac laser and no stock options trying to make it ADS faster as nothing was seeming to work, it felt the exact same to me. Still ADS'd quite slow and just wrecked my recoil control. 🤣

gun has base ADS of 346ms and u can get that down to 250ms - 260ms, depends if u want to use the 5.56 CT Ammo which reduces bullet velocity way to much imo.

@@AngeloidArtiSEA Yeah everyone says it can get that low but doing back to back testing it seems to have zero change. The tac laser alone is supposed to bring it down to ~300ms. I went from fully stock, to immediately putting on the tac laser with no stock and I felt no difference. It's odd. Usually with a tac laser, you can feel an immediate difference. Especially when it comes to LMG's as it seems to have the biggest impact rather than an SMG or whatnot. My friend was having the same result.

The Longshot Advantage Barrel actually widens the hipfire box. I've done my own testing and found the the heaviest barrel widens the hipfire box on all the guns I've tested, except shotguns obviously. all other barrels are identical. I don't use the heaviest barrels for akimbo pistols anymore for that very reason.

It's to do with net code. As a person with high ping I have this happen often in various games. On your screen you collide with someone and it looks like you should body block them but for the server you're actually slightly behind, so for the enemy with lower ping there's no collision on their screen to begin with. As a result on your screen it looks like they phase through you

Basically the other ammo is for small maps where smgs or shotguns would be good along with the adverse barrels. The main thing about this weapon is different customization than other lmgs and very little recoil.

It's worth noting that the normal barrels don't have a cap as to the total amount of recoil, while the adverse barrels do have a limit. If you shoot all 75 rounds, the adverse barrels will actually be lower. Also, mounting with the normal barrels helps with recoil like it's supposed to, but mounting with the adverse barrels helps with horizontal recoil, but gets rid of the cap on the total magnitude. It's VERY strange. I have no idea if it's a glitch or not, but this weapon has some VERY strange recoil properties.

Hey Drift0r, I thought that this was worth mentioning; if you take the tac laser off while using the chainsaw stock, you get a partial reticle similar to the hipfire reticle when aimed down sight.

If they were to nerf the Adverse barrels, I hope they don't touch the stats but instead just make it so the heat and fire from the barrel would obscure the ADS vision The longer you hold down the trigger the more smoke and heat mirage it generates, and make the recovery time from the heat mirage take longer the more you hold down your trigger

They put the Knight's Armament Company LMG? that's awesome. It's a solid LAMG. The reason why its so accurate and fast is because Eugene Stoner (The man who made the AR-15/M-16 and the Stoner 63) designed this a modern modular LMG. Much like the Stoner 63 but less rifle and more LMG. Plus it has such a low recoil that you can actually fire it while holding it like a handgun. Arguably a better design than the FN Minimi but not as popular. And also the "Chain Saw" was an actual variant of this gun.

Jim Sullivan is the unsung hero of both the AR-15 and Stoner 63. The S.63 and Ultimax (and KA LMG) use his constant recoil mechanism that makes them so controllable. In short, the recoil spring absorbs all the bolt movement so none of the energy from the bolt is transferred to the shooter. As for the Stoner 63 vs the FN Minimi, the FN is "better" for sustained fire. Each design has trade offs one way or another.
