My game crashed after being ingame for 2-3min. I fixed it by opening the task manager and close both Blizzard processes and wait 10min in the main menu

Best to set priority to normal because high increases CPU load leading to more crashes

If running it on high doesn't work, i would recommend putting it on normal. I don't know why they put the priority on high as default. Normal doesnt crash my game, High Crashes my game.

Because it Lowers the quality usually, I want to use borderless but I get a lot of screen tearing if I run it for some reason.

[FIX] I haven't crashed ever since, through this fix I found. You have to set your ram clock speed on or under the recommended amount of your CPU. I have a threadripper 1950x and the recommended amount is stated to be 2667MHz, I've currently got mine set to 2400Mhz and it's been working fine ever since.

@@Bmiller If you don't know how to do that, then you most likely haven't overclocked your pc. This fix is for people that have overclocked their pc which makes it quite unstable for cod, apparently... sorry but you issue might be related to something else

My problem is, whenever I play or while I'm in the lobby or when the game is launching, it freezes and goes black screen and then it crashes, I try going to the Blizzard Launcher and that thing goes transparent, I can click stuff but I can't see what I'm clicking except the one thing that I can see which is to Minimize it, Fullscreen it or Close it. I had a heck of a time with this one on a new PC build. Turned out being my overclocked memory where I had maxed it in the BIOS. I let it go back to defaults no issues since where before I was getting 4-5 disconnects with dev errors each night. Hope that helps some, cheers.

I just found a fix where you type "msc" into task bar and then open "System Configuration". Then go to services, hide all Microsoft Services, then hit disable all. After just apply and restart and I got to see the main menu for the first time since I downloaded the game.

Modern warfare works for me if I barely start up my PC and don't run anything but modern warfare, even if I exit out and select it again it works. But if I play another game or do something else and go to play modern warfare it loads up to the menu and after about 5 seconds it crashes to my desktop no message or anything. When I try to run again I get the safe mode option but either option it still crashes. Not really a big problem cause if I want to play I just have to restart my computer but I just thought it was wired and I have a hard time finding anything on it, if anyone has any suggestions

Try to type in windows search and open msconfig. Go to services and check the "Hide all microsoft services" Disable All Apply, ok, restart your pc.
