My wife could see the things I did, and wrote it all off as "the bare minimum". Our pastor asked her once if she ever thanked me for all the stuff I did to provide for her and to help her build her business. Her response was "why would I? That's his job".

My life started 16 years ago when my ex found a "better" man who understood her without words as she told me (she was a very toxic person). We were married and we have one child together. I was a single dad for a while, but found a normal woman whom I've been happily married for 15 years. My ex went into a circle of toxic relationships and lives alone now. She actually cried and told our daughter who is 21, "how your dad was a good man". My ex turns 50 next year. Thank you for leaving me for another man, you saved my life🙏

Very rarely do these women regret what they did to their husbands. Their regret is the impact on their own life and their inability to find a man as good as him. Not what they did to the man who thought he had a wife for the rest of his life and is now single and older. But, truth be told, he's probably much happier because he has taken control of his life.

It's super rough when you find out men love their partners like a child. They take ownership the same way, while women regard their partners as a father-like protector. People were meant to lose a parent someday, but not a child. It literally is worse for men, and we've always laughed at them to suck it up. It is instinctively failure and death for the masculine mind to overcome.

I would replace the word “find” with keep. Since they know what kind of men are good or not. And they have seen and “interacted” with them. It’s the keeping either in her favor or his is the difference.

Here's my story. Back in the '70s I had this gorgeous baby, I loved her deeply, sex was phenomenal, we both had good jobs and lived comfortably. Then along came her mother who talked her into leaving me for some joker in the army. Who then married her, knocked her up and moved her to Alaska. I just assumed she had a great life up north. A few yrs ago her I saw her brother, he said "Call her Bear, she's back in Ohio and she REALLY wants you to call her." Well, I'd been quite happily married for 25 yrs, have grandchildren, etc. But I called, the only thing she got from that marriage was a son and and hatred of Alaska and the army. I wished her well and deleted her number.

Ex wife had a perfect life. Back in 2003 we were making 80 grand a year. Nice home, I was a step dad (The boys dad had died when he was five) to a 13 year old boy (Great kid, he flourished with my mentorship). We were on our way to going over 100K, really getting ahead. She was treated well, fully provided for and the future looked great. Should have lasted right? Wrong, just three years in she's cheating. Ruined not just a marriage but two careers, a young man, finances, assets and left a wake of devastation that would take 12 years to correct and fix. Never again. She "apologized" three years later and asked if I was with someone. I told her I was happy and successful. I heard later it turned her into a barfly. Sad. Ladies, there is no "better deal" when you have found a good man. If you betray a good man, its boxed wine and cats. I know four women like that. That dumped a great man and ended up with estranged kids (after they found out the truth) and getting on SSDI because of the "trauma and abuse" of their poor choices.

Its popularly called Daddy Issues. Their mothers where attracted to the Chad, or "Bad Boy" who surprise surprise, became a bad husband and bad father. Sometimes a completely absent father. Daughters develop emotional traumas because of this, and become incredibly attracted to the "Bad boys" who resemble the same men that their mothers choose. The more "emotionally unavailable" (as they call it psychology) men, the more attracted and challenged the young woman feels. This is why the phrases "I can fix him" or "He told me he was going to change" are very common to them. Stability, kindness, loyalty and drama free environments bore the sh!t out if these women, until is too late, and the good guys they either ignored or treated like garbage have moved on.

As a man in my late 30s, I was always confused why society generally pretends every beautiful person is attractive. I think there are loads of very beautiful women, which are insanely unattractive due to their girl-boss or straight up narcissistic demeanor. And then there are women, who are not that beautiful objectively, but somehow are still very attractive due to their lovely and female nature. I think we all have seen such women somewhere.

Notice how every time it's what they, the women, have lost or are losing. Not the pain they caused the husband, children, extended family; the ripple effect of damage that will never go away. They have reaped the whirlwind, it's funny as hell, and oh so deserved.

I would explain it a little differently. It's about bringing some sort of made-up ideology into the equation of the relationship and putting it in front of everything. You don't need any special gratitude to just enjoy things and treat another person in good faith. But if you are possessed by an idea of oppression, you are going to run with it and see it everywhere. So an ordinary well-meant action starts looking like a plot to you. It's effectively a paranoid behavior without having an actual mental illness.

My ex and I have been talking after 20 years apart. I see all the warning signs that I explained away back then. How she perceives things is always tainted by her past traumas from her f'd up family. She doesn't live in reality and after 20 years she still hasn't changed. Might be all the psychologists she sees. Saw the women in her family go to these doctors but they choose to stay with the ones they agree with. Therefore they are just waste of money.

I suspect the best relationship is one where both sides believe the other party is a prize or the prize. A big problem today is that the modern female makes it difficult for any man to consider the modern female a prize coupled with modern females believing they are the prize and a man is lucky to have them.
@Crushonius
@Crushonius 9 ай бұрын
wrong the only relationships that work is when the man is the prize and the woman loves him quite a bit more than he loves her but should that ever change she will lose all her love and respect for him . seen it happen too many times

@Crushonius a man can accept a woman he thinks is lesser than he is. A woman often considers herself much more valuable than she is. If you want a healthy marriage, you must find one that considers a man the prize (although I wouldn't recommend a man get married). I,ve been in a good marriage for 45 years. My wife is intelligent enough to realize that she's got a good thing. These single mothers, high body count, selfish women that men have to deal with now make a life long marriage a thing of the past.

Most women in the United States have a short-sighted, peasant individualism resulting from the male-created romantic tradition of the last century. They were told that they were superior creatures, a little nearer to the angels than their menfolks. They were not encouraged to think, nor to assume social responsibility. It takes a strong mind to break out of that sort of conditioning, and most minds simply aren't up to it. -R. A. Heinlein 1957

It’s likely that she is such an “expert” because she is/was exactly the same as these women. She is still single afterall and appears to have already hit the wall. You really think she is the type to take a back seat in a relationship as she advocates? Doubt it… I guarantee she is the driver. I remember seeing her podcasts in the early days and she seemed modest, but even then, I could tell it was fake modesty. Now that she has a million followers, she has revealed her true self… cocky and arrogant. And she probably comes off that way in every relationship she has been in… hence her still being single.

I was in a relationship for 9 years. I engaged her 7 years into it and while it might've seemed like a long time it helped me realise that the relationship was a one sided commitment and I would often be angry on the inside while with her cause I had committed so much time and energy to her telling her how beautiful she was, letting her know that I have her back and encouraged her hobbies but in the end she was very selfish and I told her that a couple of months before Covid started I had wanted to leave the relationship, which I definitely should've done earlier, because she had done nothing to help in the relationship. In the end she dumped me over that anf the funniest part is she had a new man 1 month later while were still living together.

Facebook post from my ex within 1 week of our divorce: "What a great day for taking the Harley for a ride down the river!" (With the guy she cheated with, she didn't mention that.) One of the women from our church, who wasn't up-to-date with what was going on between us, said "you got a Harley!?!?!?" No, she got a guy WITH a Harley. Like Pearl just said, women can't seem to create their own lives. They have to have a man who is responsible for entertaining them. So if you are not a 'bad boy', eventually there are going to be problems. She is going to get bored.

Making hobbies and work into sources of happiness is a great way to keep yourself moving forward and doing better. When I'm not busy working it's looking up stocks, streaming my gaming and writing stories that can become a anime or a plot for a video game. Dive into your passion. Never let a person be what makes you happy. That will eventually turn into a burden on them and no one wants to be a burden.

I think that this is the issue today Pearl, Women of the past met a man and over time and adversity learned to love him which is why the women of the past stayed with their men for a life time. These Modern day women expect perfection and a deep love connection at the moment they meet and instead of working towards that deep love connection expect it just handed to them. These women need to understand that love and happiness take commitment nothing worth having is just handed to you on a silver platter. Like anything if it's too easily gotten then you won't appreciate what you have until you lose it and it's too late.

At our kids sporting event she started chewing out her husband in front of the kids and other ppl. I almost felt sorry for the guy because she won’t dare talk to me like that after I told her to get out of my house before I throw her out. I’m probably the only guy that’s stood up to her like that. I believe reality has set in for her that she needs a man and her options are dwindling and so are her looks. It’s funny when we go to kids sport events and I’m now the one being checked out.

Pearl was onto something with that 'women need to be doing something' comment. It's true. Women need to be kept productive - the devil makes work for idle hands. If men keep their wives running after children, working in the house, studying to improve their handiwork, cleaning and cooking we are surprisingly happy. My husband is always pushing me to learn new recipes, teach our kids new subjects, try growing something new in the garden. It keeps me so happy, and it is great for loyalty. I like being put on a mission by him. It makes me feel useful, and makes him even more attractive as the visionary leader.
