I live in England and our schools are overcrowded. You cannot get doctors or dentist appointments. The government has now prioritised social housing for immigrants. You can get arrested in some cities for preaching christianity and in some cases that has been on T.V. One woman was arrested for being white!!! Our country is being invaded and our government is allowing it. Our government are targeting our OAPs by taking away heating allowances and are wanting to add more taxes on everything. Agree. The planet is not overpopulated. Look around and you will see deserts, empty places on the planet where it is possible to build towns for humans and food supply. It can be built on water, underground or in rocks too. With new tech we can do it. The cities are overpopulated and that is what the government does not like. With that comes an issue of mass food supply, waste removal, schools, accommodation and much more. Too many people create too many problems for gov to deal with, including health service and keeping the disease under control in time of free global movement. The gov aim is to push people out of cities and reduce the population with eugenic policy to save money on benefits, pension and other gov costs which can be reinvested into gov projects. The business run becomes number one, without respect to morals, rules or legal obligations. Simply money making by people became a motor for gov to sustain its existence and power. That is why the gov creates policy for sick, ill, disabled to get on with the work and reduces their benefits at the same time so the motor is running fully. The overpopulation is just a gov excuse which suits them for creating certain policies and rules in the name of gov interest.

The problem is with resource limits and in turn, carrying capacity, given resource demand for a given population, for a given living standard, and in the context of currently available technologies. Finite mineral resources are critical for maintaining current levels of economic prosperity, and their aggregate global production is on a trajectory in which their availability will be in terminal decline within the next century, if not by mid century for some minerals. Recycling can add greatly to the labor and energy costs, to the extent that it may not be economical for some minerals. In addition, regenerative resources like fisheries, trees, nutrient rich soils, and potable water, are being depleted faster than recovery rates in some regions. The phenomenon of Overshoot is real, and if humans do not recognize it for what it is and change collective behaviors accordingly, the human project with suffer the consequences. Recognition of the existential threat in the many manifestations of Overshoot is far from being misanthropic, rather, acknowledgement through appropriate action would serve as being both anthropocentric, and respectful of the balance within natural systems... It is the recognition that humans and nature are inseparables, and that if we want to survive as a species, we must abide by nature's rules.
