***Correction at 4:00 the painter Henri Regnault is mentioned in connection with impressionism. He is not relevant because he didn't paint in an impressionist style. A better selection would have been Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

Arnold Schoenberg: "Let's break all of the old rules!" Atonality: "Yeah! How do we do that?" Arnold Schoenberg: "Here's some new rules to follow!" Atonality: ".....Genius!" LOL Jokes aside, very educational thanks!

I'm surprised you didn't mention Prokofiev in the major composers segment.

Prokorfiev was definitely a FORCE OF NATURE to be reckoned with, he was so gifted, but much maligned by those of lesser sentience than himself. I would've preferred him to have been covered here as well, and more on the political repression of composers by totalitarian regimes.

Henri Regnault was a minor figure in French painting. I don't believe he was an Impressionist either. Given your line up of French Impressionist painters at T = 4:06, perhaps you mean Pierre-August Renoir, definitely a big name in French art.

If you are still interested, they are just pictures that come up on google images when you search up "modernism music". It represents the surrealism and uniqueness of modernism music.

There is no such thing as modern classical music....classical music was the music of the enlightenment.
