Marina, thank you so much! Now I understand better all these subject - so complicated, so difficult, so painful and fascinating... Looking forward to watch your further speeches. Will you make any more wideos? You are a great lecturer indeed. Many thanks and congratulations to Gresham College. 💗

A wonderful and informative lecture, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you! Although I am quite familiar with the life and work of Shostakovich, this comparison not only brought to my attention a new composer and his music, but also sheds interesting light on the person and work of Shostakovich. I look forward to more lectures by Marina Frolova-Walker!

Thank you for this lecture! A very interesting piece of history, and musical history within it. Indeed Mosolov Iron Foundry is the most known (if not only), but his harp concerto sounded wonderful I thought!

The importance of perspectives on Russian cultura during Stalin regency. Congrats to an obvious expert, "daughter of Perestroika" and still, master of the musical roots of Soviet era. It was an honor. Dmitri Sostakovich in his era, so, it was an Enlightening lecture.

very interesting topic and information. one little note: for the next talk, repeating the text more, so that it's more fluent with less hesitation, could help the audience, especially the non native speakers, like me (but i m not russian :) ) - anyway, bravo for this conference, i hope you'll make many more in the future :D

Had to turn it off after 20 minutes. Unfortunately very superficial, incorrect, revisionist... Categorical apparatus is all over the place, without any material foundation. Just tendentious and dubious interpretations.

Couldn't understand a word of what she was rabitting on about.
