Bought the PHEV (Premium trim in the U.S.) last month after I’d special ordered my vehicle from Japan to get a CX-70 Premium without a black interior (I paired the Melting Copper Metallic ext. with the Greige leather interior.) The 340 hp 4,700-lb 3.3L I6 Turbo S is certainly faster than the 323 hp 5,100-lb 2.5L I4/PHEV. But the 280 hp I6 is NOT. I disagree completely that the PHEV is boring by comparison. As for cost: In Colorado, US, Mazda Financial Services’ lease credited me the $7,500 Federal & $5,350 State tax incentives (Mazdas, being assembled in Japan, technically don’t qualify for them), plus 2 brand rebates ($1,000 & $500 Mazda loyalty), totaling a $14,850 discount off a retail of $56,300 (w/ delivery). For $41,450, this vehicle cannot be matched anywhere on Earth!

2:18 That doesn't seem accurate because no other reviewers have said this for the CX-70 in the U.S.
