We really like the online course with French with Alexa, paired with the Bien Dit workbook

New subscriber and you gave me sime great curriculum ideas. Do you have any suggestions for literature in the older grades?

If you mean novels, we cover most of the classics. Authors like Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, C.S Lewis, many autobiographies as well. My older kids have read 1984, Jane Eyre, The Scarlett Letter, Brave New World, The Screwtape Letters, The Hobbit, and the list goes on!

I can relate to not finishing the book! My twin daughters are very meticulous, and it's alright! Very enjoyable review! You had a lot of good stuff! Love your comments on logic and where it stems from. Absolutely. I think that everything in life should be held under the microscope of is it true? God is the ultimate truth. His word is our guide. And everything that goes on in our world (and in our country), we must ask where did it originate? Is it true? I say that Satan is the author of "disinformation." He introduced that to Adam and Eve from the very beginning. He flipped the truth on its head and got them to doubt in what God had clearly said. The Bible says Satan is the father of lies. And the Bible says that it is impossible for God to lie. Great comments, great video! ♥

We are in Canada so I can only speak to our area but most schools will accept homeschool transcripts as acceptance. It’s probably more widely accepted now than ever! Praying you both have a good year.💗

For the story of the world books which level would be the best to start with for grades 7-9? When I looked them up it said level 1 was for the younger grades so I was worried it wouldn't be enough.

Because they are in chronological order, I always start with book one and go from there. You can choose how much you read per lesson and if you add in the activity sheets and quizzes I think it’s enough. Of course you can always supplement with readers, additional books, and videos that correspond with that time period.👍🏼

No, although there is an English course they have to take first year that they are able to opt out of if they pass the initial screening. My oldest son now has one less class to take!👍🏼
