Hi friends. Let's talk MODESTY. Modesty is a very important component of walking with Jesus and we're on this journey with you. We speak on what the Bible says about modesty, where we're at with it, what modesty used to look like for us. We touch on social media and dealing with comments. We answer some of your questions as well.
We love you so much and Jesus loves you even more.

This reminds me of when I got pregnant at 18 un married , and my mom’s Sunday school class refused to throw a baby shower, visit me at the hospital, and kicked me out of the group. I felt so shamed that I never returned to that church. I wish people would remember that Jesus went to the adulterer and the woman at the well to heal and help them. Jesus went to the sinners to show love, compassion, and forgiveness! That’s why we should always ask what would Jesus do? We will all continually fall short of the glory of God, but Christians are here to love, encourage, and help one another grow, not judge from a cruel jealous place. Too many Christians weaponize and hide their jealousy and misery behind Christ and judgement towards others, which turns people away from, not towards God. ❤ Thanks for this amazing message, ladies!

I’m so sorry you went through that. That had to feel so terrible and dismissive. Christians need to realize if we want women who find themselves in these situations not to choose things like abortion, we need to do a better job showing love and caring for these mothers.

That's not even sound advice. Scripture shows to hold one another to righteous accountability and judge righteous judgment. Obviously we can look at a situation like a new follower of Christ isn't surprising they dress immodest and need time to grow but these women are only saying don't judge because they don't like that people hold them accountable for knowing right from wrong with the immodest posts they have on their instigram.

@@vivaeuropa just seeing your reply, and just wanted to say thank you for sharing your perspective! However, I would have to disagree with you based on 2 things: 1) I said that we are not to "judge" others, not that we can't speak the truth in a loving, non-judgemental way. There is a big difference. One is something the Bible warns against, while the other is something that ultimately comes through spending time with someone and sharing the truth with them in a way that uplifts them. The Bible is very clear that we as believers are not in a place to judge. In Matthew 7: 1-5, Jesus specifically says "do not judge" to those who were following him during the sermon on the mount. Just as easily as we may nitpick how others (like these young ladies) are dressed, there is often a very big "plank" in our own eye that is causing us to have an even bigger problem in our relationship with the Lord. So, pointing out their flaws publicly on the internet is in no way building them up but instead causing the same problem Jesus is referring to in those scriptures. 2) you quoted Jesus' words in your argument, which can be found in John 7:24 (KJV‬) "[24] Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Your argument contradicts this verse because it says not to judge others according to appearance, which is exactly what judging others by their dress is doing. "Righteous judgment" then comes from God alone because not of us are righteous outside of Christ. If the Holy Spirit in us gives us the liberty to share with someone that their dress isn't modest enough, it's going to be done in a way that aligns with the fruits of the Spirit (lovingly, peacefully, patiently, kindly, etc.). And I can guarantee you that publicly calling someone out on the internet is not doing that at all. Again, I truly appreciate your argument and perspective and I hope this didn't come off combative! Just want the Truth to be upheld so others can know it and be set free because of it❤️

This podcast was essential! I was born in a Christian household, my dad's a Pastor, and growing up in a conservative church, I was thought to not wear pants, makeup, earrings and be modest. But I became a judgemental person, I mistook modest for being holy. The Holy Spirit started showing me how wrong I was. God had told my dad to leave the church we were in. Like the ministry we were in. He prayed so much and God putted us in a ministry where there were many people from different cultures and different missionary background. There one day at the church service, As I was singing, I looked at all the women, they were wearing makeup, jeans and jewelry buy they were praying and worshipping. Then the holy spirit in my heart said They are my daughters how dare you judge your own sisters. I felt so ashamed and from that point on I decided to change. Modesty is not only on clothes, the appearance but it starts from within us. Inside first and the outside will be a reflection of whats inside of us. Seeing you two talking about how God has changed and is changing you both is the same as he did to me but I was on the opposite side of the spectrum. Thank you girls ❤❤❤❤

Yes but some girls are only willing to become modest after they’ve put on layers of make up and tight clothes sticking to their bosoms. And on holiday they’ll easily wear a bikini set saying “oh it’s normal to wear a bikini on the beach” So after doing all these things they then argue they are modest whereas all day they’ve been encouraging sexual want and attention.

As woman in my early 30's, I am just now realizing that modesty is a little journey of its own. I've noticed with me, that it starts within the heart and works its way outward and then becomes a public appearance of our change within ourselves as we follow God. This is a beautiful platform as it shows a human, flawed journey to growing a relationship with God. We are not perfect, we all have a past and will continue to make mistakes but God's grace and mercy and his love for us shows in his forgiveness as well.

You aren’t born and then immediately running!? No you have to learn how to walk. That takes time. It’s trial and error. No one walks perfectly with God but especially in the beginning. Thank you thank you thank you Ladies! I am a curvaceous girl and have recently lost a lot of weight which make my curves show a little more no matter what I put on. I recently wore a dress to church that was down past my knees, no cleavage and with a blazer. Some of the feedback was that I was dressed inappropriately. It honestly hurt my feelings because it was simply because of my shape. I was so distracted during service and I didn't stand up during praise and worship because I was subconscious about my back side. I completely understand this journey you’re on ladies. I used to be in the same boat and have struggled with modesty myself! I think as you desire more of Jesus and the truly reflect Him in ALL areas of your life, your hearts will change pertaining towards what you wear. Always ask yourself “does this glorify my holy, and righteous Savior?” “Does this bring me closer to God and being a witness for Him?” “Will this be helpful for my brother or sister in Christ?” Take the time to ask those questions and allowing the Holy Spirit to convict you & lead you is key. Also remember you don’t want to do right by people- BUT TO GOD 🤍🤍 People are fickle with their warped opinions- having the spirit of the fear of the Lord is what brings us closer & closer to being more like Him 🙌🏽

It’s not about make up or being attractive there’s nothing wrong with that! God hates religion. It’s all about who’s faithful to him and living that life ya know. and abstaining from sin. A born again Christian has had a radical transformation with the lord. “If any man be in Christ therefore he is a new creation old things pass away ALL THINGS become new” :). Thank you for your podcast. I often feel like I'm being lectured by a mom or dad in these Christian podcasts but with you ladies I feel like I am actually chatting with sisters and friends about our faith journey. Sometimes, our friends can have stronger influences than our own parents. So thank you for putting yourselves out there because we don't have many young modern women spreading the word.

I can say as a minister of the gospel globally our appearance and how we adorn ourselves can be a distraction to the full light of Christ coming though and when as we share and speak people can see nails hair and the attire over the spirit and words. Let us fade and He come forward! Light makeup, clothes that are feminine but not too tight or revealing, modest nails etc. Still feminine and beautiful. Your spirit and His light will shine so bright and the worldly pressures should go down! Women need your voice to champion modesty and vanity to fade. The more we know his presence and holiness we want to cover. The world and even in church will promote to sexy it all- but that’s for marriage and in the bedroom not to display out for the world. Men also need modesty. God bless you- keep seeking him amen

I think it’s really amazing how you describe that your walk with God is a journey. Don’t ever be afraid to continue telling your stories of lessons learned, what God spoke to you, and by our mistakes you’ve made. That’s how we all learn. Our walk with God is all about trying to be better everyday to glorify God. No one that makes these rude comments that claim to be Christians are perfect and that’s OKAY, because we are human and God loves us. This is the first podcast I’ve heard and I really enjoyed it!

"Criticism without proximity is just gossip." Loved it. Oftentimes I watch souls on YT, and although they may not do everything the way I believe should be done, like you said, even with proximity, as Christians, some things just can never be said outright, and only time and fellowship in the word and personal communion with the Spirit can bring those changes at all. May the Lord continue to lead you both and bless your hearts.

I love that you two spoke about how we attract certain types of people with the image we project. It is so true and I don’t think that a lot of people realize it. It can have a big affect on our social lives, our dating lives, and even work opportunities. I believe their are a lot of high quality guys out there who avoid women with super provocative social medias (myself included). I’m sure the same is true for many women who avoid certain types of men.

Hi ladies! First things first, I love the support and accountability you keep for one another. It is so sweet and admirable. I pray for genuine friendships in my life to keep me guarded like that. Second, I’m so so glad you both have been strengthened by God’s spirit to continue speaking on your experiences in spite of discouraging feedback. To see young women living for God, and working in entertainment, is needed just as you both pointed out. How will people come to know God if Christians solely contain themselves in “Christian” spaces? Just your boldness and vulnerability alone magnifies His name. :) Also, thank you for redirecting the point that modesty begins with a pure heart that serves and leads others toward Christ! Yes and amen!! xx

What makes a woman truly beautiful is her ways, her heart and her soul. Her having a relationship with God is what makes her beautiful. Her faith makes her beautiful. Being natural and modest makes her beautiful. The bible is full of truths, yes, and these verses really proves that a woman and her ways is of uttermost importance. Proverbs 2:16-19 Proverbs 5:1-14 Proverbs 6:24-35 Proverbs 7:6-27 Proverbs 9:13-18 Proverbs 11:22 Proverbs 12:4 Proverbs 14:1 Proverbs 19:13 Proverbs 21:9 Proverbs 21:19 Proverbs 25:24 Proverbs 27:15-16 Isaiah 3:16-26 Then theres verses that plainly says what a good woman is like. Proverbs 12:4 Proverbs 19:14 Proverbs 31:10-31 Ephesians 4:1-6 Ephesians 5:21-24 Ephesians 5:33 1 Timothy 3:11 1 Timothy 5:16 1 Timothy 2:9-15 is absolutely beautiful since it talks about outer appearences and inner qualities. 1 Peter 3:1-6 is kind of the same, very beautiful. I was just very confused by something one of you said. You read the verses about outer appearences from 1 Peter and 1 Timothy I think, and later on one of you said that no matter what you would continue to dress in a certain way, put makeup on, and so forth. You also used the argument you would do that, no matter what any christian says. That hit me, especially since you said you werent just talking, but you were also walking. I will tell you this: listen to christians when they stand upon the word of God. But more importantly, listen to God, obey his word. Gods ways are higher then our ways, Gods thoughts are higher then ours. Then lastly, just to wrap it up, Jesus Christ himself said that if you love him, you keep his words.

@@naeco1602 Point taken. When Angela talks about how much she loves Jesus in this video...I could tell by all the "time and effort" she has spent learning and applying the Word to her life to her iniquities..it shows me how much she loves Him..that's why I made the comment..her actions..her behavior..her growth in Christ shows me how much she loves Him...she and Ari are drawing people to Christ..they are planting seeds in the social media platform..they are serving God by spreading the Word..they are His servants and doing His will. There is a lot to do to prepare for these podcasts..videos..all in the name of Christ..so they are in right standing with God...they are in His will..their testimonies are resonating with a lot of people who are non believers...they are planting the seeds to those who are non believers and educating those who are believers. It's all good! I understand there are those who are lukewarm Christian's but hopefully these girls open their eyes. And ultimately everyone will face judgment day..God's wrath will be upon everyone....and it's up to each individual regarding their walk with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

That seems to make sense that "modesty comes from the heart" as the Bible says "but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God" (1 Timothy 2:10). Perhaps modesty, the right way for women, stems from the good deeds they actually do from their hearts, but I am not a woman to know exactly. As a man, I think it is absurd to dress in a way that is too sexy, but that might be a challenge for haughty women who might be sexually immoral (Proverbs 11:22).

Wow, I really love this! I don't normally post comments but this is so amazing to hear you both actually changing things that you thought were not expedient, you are clearly easily teachable. Paul, in the Bible talks about avoiding even the appearance of evil and also some things are good but not expedient and I think modesty has a lot to do with that. I heard a quote that said "what you wear should frame your face but if it just makes a frame for your body then that's not good" or something like that. Also you both remind me of the quote, "a girl should be so lost in God that a guy has to seek Him to find her" when you were both talking about just wanting to do everything to please God and be pure for Him. I completely agree with what you were saying about the heart being more important and we can look conservative on the outside but have a provocative heart, Amen. I'll just say it is hard to find a balance for modesty for me. asking a brother or husband sometimes can be a good help, like "is this ok?" I just discovered your channel and I really like it. Don't worry about people hating or criticizing, it's about what God thinks and you can know what he thinks in the bible. Let the bible and the Holy Spirit be your guide. There is something called Tall Poppy syndrome which is that if you are a Tall Poppy, you are beautiful and stand-out, not trying to show off, just by nature you are a Tall Poppy, people will try to cut you down. When God has made you beautiful, what a testament to His grace that you chose to abide with God and keep His word. Looking forward to more content from you both xx

Very proud of you both for the self realization and vulnerability. Keep your head up and keep moving forward, because your imperfection, honesty, and humility will help a lot of young girls and women who are watching you.

I'm thankful for your podcast. I've listened to a handful of your episodes, and it is refreshing to hear your love for the Lord and your vulnerability to share your lives to glorify God. Stay strong, sisters.

Guys don’t be too hard on yourself, So many self-aware people shy away from preaching the word of God because they know their sinners in the eyes of God. But guess what, I’d rather have self aware diners than fake-appearing saints. This is real, this is raw and this is more encouraging as it’s real for young women today when temptation is everywhere and your CHOOSING to do good. Your both pretty and hVe good heads on your shoulders but choosing to be godly. That’s what’s inspiring to me

You say the same thing about men sinning? Like, unfaithful men or fornicators for example
