Dearest Crafsman, I'm stuck home with Covid binging through your backlog and it heartens me so much to see someone talking about Stikfas. As a youth growing up in the South [born in 90]s my family was a bit behind the times when it came to internet access. I would spend days online watching new Stikfas release and watching the forums talk about them. My family hunted for years but never managed to scare any up, they just never hit my area. [Central TN] and even one winter when pops hit a good lick and took us to Oprey Mill's shopping Toys R us didn't have them. I've seen modibots before and been widely uninterested in them as a Stikfas successor but once I get a bit of scratch I'm going to grab one. Thanks again for everything you're doing out there, brotherman. Thank you so much.

That's right! I did wonder about whether or not it's possible to bake something like Sculpey (or Cosclay) over the plastic skeletons. The plastic *should* hold up if we go low and slow. And might even be that the boiling water technique could be used. ? Thinking out-loud. :)

@@TheCrafsMan Things bake from the Outside to the Inside. If the plastic is inside the clay, it would take a lot of time before the heat reached it. That said, looking at that plastic type... it appears to be a plastic that would take heat levels that are far beyond over-bake clay, to cause melting and warping.
@KidMechan02 жыл бұрын
@@TheCrafsMan You can use Polyclay on the Mo+ version of the figures. The ones I sent you (PETG) don't react well to oil/solvent-based clays. But it is possible. You can also sculpt on most of the white parts that I sent you.
