I love the TT I've owned one last 3 years . marvellous .only thing I don't like .wheels seem to be slightly wider than I'd like .so it's quite easy to clip the kerb and damage the wheels . They are not expensive to buy used .and hold up quite well just requiring normal maintainance. They can do large mileages without problems . They don't rust. .they are no good as a family car but a two seater sports car perfect. Love mine

Great video and I agree to most comments except for when he says that driving one of these stock is "horrible, so boring." It may be true with an automatic but for me, I have lots of fun with my FWD 08 manual on bendy roads every day across the North of England. I think the TT stock is the sweet spot for performance, comfort and excitement for day-to-day use. If you want to race these on a track, that's a different story.

Nice! The TTS has a firmer steering wheel and i read that the steering feel can be adjusted by a software modification. You can load the TTS steering characteristic in a normal TT and have the firmer steering like in the TTS.

Yup I’d upgraded my TT to a TTS Quattro and I’m keeping it until I’m gone. It’s lots of fun and quite easy on maintenance. Except for expensive tyres though 🤣

Great car, I am sure, but I have always found it to be a bit too clinical in its design. There is so little character. I honestly prefer the first gen TT ...that thing has character and today they look better than they did back then. But the video is not wasted - the dude made up for the car by being interesting himself. He is young and knows his stuff. Last week a dude complimenting Matt on his Mustang said young guys are all about HP and not "fun" when it comes to tuning. Seems like this young man breaks the stereotype. Good to see.

I my self own an Audi A5 with the 2.0 turbo and I can't wait to chip it, I'm currently pushing 240 hopefully get it to 290 hp or so I can have a little more speed but the interior and design outclasses anybody including Mercedes if you compare it to the competition like an e class

Audi is the bottom of Germans then its BMW, Mercedes and Porsche are at the Top. why else do they cost more and create cars like the S65, G65 by Mercedes & 911 Turbo S, Cayenne Turbo S by Porsche. Things the Audi arent even ready to compete with.

I once had a 2011 TT 1,8 TFSI 160 bHP Mann, they goes so nice, but then you push them a bit, they tends to be a bit sloppy in corners. I chiped mine to 210 Bhp. But great everyday car, especially if you get the 3,2 V6.Sadly i traded it out forMK6 GTi...

I have the 2008 TT VR6 Quattro, I believe the steering in mine is probably a tiny bit stiffer than the 2.0T. Its definitely heavier than my GTI was.

b5 s4s are certainly not shit. One of the best cars they ever made and any audi enthusiast would probably Agree. The torque deliver of that car is simply incredible. Shit you could do a survey and people would much rather have the 2.7t revised and updated instead of the 3.0t that the newer cars have. It rides great and is very practical to daily drive. My friend has one and just put a full turboback exhaust on it 2 weeks ago and it sounds so sick.

Got one at the moment, Its a nice looking car and the 2.0 tfsi engine feels way gruntier than it should be based on its on paper specs. But the stock suspension is pretty shit. so its not very sporty when you really go at it which is a shame.

For me it’s the difference years in my market. 2013 Audi TT for $7,000 2001 Boxster for $7,250 Much rather have the hatchback, and solid roof, plus awd! But mid engine is so nice!

However I did get an A4 that I love, and I would absolutely reccomended getting the newer Audi over the older Porsche knowing what I know now.

Just look for AUDI TT Haldex and you should find some different ones. I used to own a TT, but never did that mod. The car was great except for things breaking here and there from time to time.

It's haldex 4wd. They can be reflashed so they send more power to the rear wheels. Typically they send more power to the front wheels at all times

“You can make this like a TTS”. You can make a TTS like an RS. You can make an RS something special!! My TTS will become stage 3 with 425/450 hp very soon. Quicker then a stage 1 TTRS. Do it!

I bought my stage 2 TTS from my friend who upgraded to a TTRS. The stage 2 TTS and stock RS were pretty similar in power and acceleration before he tuned his.

Brett Droder my TTS 2+ is 360 hp and 420 lbs ft torque. Pretty nippy and quicker then a standard RS with less cost. Bargain little whips.:)) A 2009-2014 TTRS is 335 hp and 332lbs ft torque. A stage 1 TTS is 310/325 hp and 330/340lbs ft torque. So pretty much a remap on a TTS and you have an RS.
