We have had many request to feature a modified Ford Ranger XLT, well you can stop waiting. Because In modified episode 9 we feature Chis’s Ford Ranger XLT. Plenty of mods have been done to this Ranger. Chris talks about the turbo lagging and tells us how he fixed it along with plenty of other information about mods to the Ranger XLT.
One of the unique things about the Ranger is the 5 cylinder motor and the 6 speed manual gear box! Clearly Ford have thought about this vehicle for towing and suiting as a work house which is great for the off-road enthusiasts as the power and torque will suit 4WDing very well. The Ford Ranger XLT also comes with a factory rear locker which is a super thing/improvement to have from factory!

Top stuff Ronny and crew...Can you do a walk through on the jeep...love the sounds of the fat V8's but when the jeep comes into shot it sounds like it's running on battery's compared to you'r rigs not much sound at all but still keeps up pretty well...also can you do a quick run down on you'r drone and camera gear...Thank's heap's...keep up the good work...

Hey Ronny, great vid mate. Question - have you had to deal with HID lights interfering with your car radio/UHF signal? Just fitted HID's on my 80 series, struggling to get a good solution to fix the interference. I noticed this bloke has his HID's right next to his car radio antenna, did he have any issues you know of? Cheers!

Have never noticed or had a problem with the UHF while running HIDs, they do interfere with the HF however but so does everything else in the cruiser. Perhaps the signal wire from the radio and power wire from the HID are too close. That would be a place to start.

+brokenlegz Looks like 33" or 285/70 R17 which is 32.7" motor is stock standard too except for the chip and modified exhaust. I just bought a mod exhaust including cat for $400 for my Ranger, no chip though

+Doug Mac to get more out of the chip an exhaust will help but it helps more with the air flow rather than a direct increase of power or torque.
