I've got a Fabia vRS MKII, Race-Red, default configuration. What an amazing cheap hot-hatch! Even mine is a 2014, it still drink some oil. According to my readings, it is because of the compressor/super-charger. Nice video. thanx

great vid. You dont have to put it into manual on the lever though, just use the paddles when you want to then long press the upshift lever to pop it back into Drive mode.

You mentioned the suspension setup but did you also change the rear ARB that makes a world of difference

Just buy a straight mid pipe ,will sound a bit louder but not to loud ,i did mine and happy with it

Please can somebody tell me how loud is Is really whit straight Pipe? How IS IT on daily driving? I have now resonator delete on My Fabia vrs and i am thinking straight Pipe on future For More sound.

From my experience with my Celica straight pipe was far too loud cat back is definitely the way to go

Can I get some advice? I’ve just bought a 12 reg mk2. I know people cry about the engines, is it worth paying 500 or so for warranty or just replace the engine if it comes to it? There’s 80k on the clock

I got a 2013 reg with the CTHE engine in it (the better one) had no issues from 52k-65k so far, even with a stage 1 APR remap on it, I got Skoda warranty for the first year for peace of mind and never needed to use it, just look after it and check oil often and should be sweet

​​@@nomanhanif3211Yes basically when they map the ECU they slightly adjust the richness of the petrol so that tiny particles of petrol fly down the to the end of the exhaust and explode due to the exhaust being hot 👌

Idk if you could class that stage 2. "Stage 1" tunes hit around 220. Honestly the whole stage terminology is cursed anyways
