Well Verna has not only more features at a lower price but it has the following things as well: 1. Faster than virtus 2.yet better fuel economy despite virtus having that gimmicky cylinder deactivation technology 3. Higher top speed of 211 kmph vs virtus only 203 kmph.even old Verna diesel used to hit 200 plus mark 4.slightly roomier and practical cabin 5.lowest maintenance in its class 6.higher resale value 7. Far better service network 8.more bootspace 9.and a HUGE FAN FOLLOW . It itself is a brand kid😊. Many VW owners have shifted to Verna in reality. It is only in KZbin that people talk shit about verna

@@arkaprabhamondal4441 Agree on the features and top speed.. personally for me the most imp point while buying a car is safety..specially with this much power and top speed the safety becomes even more crucial.. 2 cylinder deactivation technology works seamless on my TRoc and I have even got a mileage of 21 kmpl on highways if driven descently around 90.. not sure why people are getting such low mileage on Virtus.. I have never got below 11 in my Troc even in traffic conditions

More room in cabin my head touches the roof when i sit on the backseats of the car it is very disappointing i pre booked the car and went for the offical reveal day in showroom that week only I canceled my booking waited soo long for this ugly Chinese looking design I have been driving hyundai diesels for past 10-12 years and maintenance might look low with your phrasing of words “lowest in its segment “ but it has alway been high it has to be done in 10k km which make it more frequent and lastly this plastic body 🤢 As a long term owner of disel i20 & verna i must say these cars are no more good looking and are all about the feature which I might not even remember existed on my car If you say virtus is overhyped then so is verna Engine was the only thing i liked about this generation but it requires better handling for sure at high speed it doesn’t feel solid at all It is only because of the old fan base and the past image of hyundai this car is selling other wise iska response bhi poor hi hota And about mileage your expectations are way too high diesel nhi h yeh turbo petrol h But everyone has there preferences joh leni h lo koi issue nhi ample of performance is offered in both

I would prefer the steering of the Slavia over the Verna... Skoda's 2-spoke steering feels like it has an invisible 3rd spoke... Verna's steering wheel feels like it belongs to a gaming console, and the 2-spoke steering of the Verna feels vintage...

Verna is known for comfortable ride and this Verna is just that and that 1.6 diesel used to be the fastest sedan at that time and so is this 1.5 turbo. Sure it's not strong at the top end but the midrange is so strong that in any acceleration be it drag race or roll race it wil eat up the virtus and slavia .( Ignoring some fake drag races). The midrange is so enjoyable in this car you don't need to rev it upto 6000 rpm and waste your fuel and I don't know but that might be the reason it's more fuel efficient than the virtus with that gimmicky cylinder deactivation technology

I own Both Verna 1.5 dct and Virtus 1.5 gt . I get and average of 7-8 in Verna while I get 11-12 on Virtus at the same time . My father uses Verna , it’s more plush inside but the seats are better in Virtus . Virtus is more planted on higher speeds ( No contest ) . Verna is better in terms of all round package and driving at lower speeds . Virtus is for sheer driving pleasure . Braking as mentioned in the video is poor in Verna . It surely goes left right on braking at high speeds . Looks are very subjective - I hate the front of Verna but my father likes it !!! But overall Gt seems more elegant and sporty at the same time while Verna seems a little overdone on the front portion . Love Verna’s rear profile ❤ . This is a genuine response . Not a fanboy for Verna or for virtus . I am First time buyer of both brands !!!
