to add to this, if adams reading, go to a massage therapist and get the muscles worked. and then work on strengthening your core. i had a weak core and bad back pain, now after working out my core almost everyday for even 10 minutes it’ll help the pain. leaning over a car to work on engine and car stuff strengthens the back, in a bad way

Hey Adam, i work at Porsche in Germanny. When you want to get the wheels of and on you need to be carefull with some things. This is how Porsche wants it to be done: 1. Dont losen or tighten the centrelock on the ground. Get someone in the car, pull the ebrake und step on the brake. Then losen in the air. 2.Tighten the wheels in the air too. The same way but when they are all at 600nm you need to loosen them again 90 degree and then thighten to 600nm. This is so they seed well this is how porsche wants it and how we all do it in the shop Hopefully you see this and it helps you XD Lukas

@@yelruta oh know, lotta speed in a 5500lb truck, that temp will be 👌👌 😂 Last price I got was about 700-900 per caliper for a zr1 and the rotors were about a grand each. Pads were about 400-500 each but just imagine the flex haha

Always undo and torque centre locks in the air!!!! Very important Porsche instructions. Torque specs for centre lock wheels is 600nm. This has been drilled into my head over my main dealer apprenticeship.

17:10 I had a similar issue on my STI with overheating while stationary. Fixed it with a high flow thermostat to allow for more cooling. Just added a couple more holes to the thermostat to allow for it. Worked like a charm.

13:45 They are very professional! They wash it in direct sunlight, and do not even use the two bucket method. To be honest, the car was not that dirty to begin with. But, nevertheless, I was expecting a better method to clean this level of car. Moreover, the headlight coating is not that "good" after being for so long, and it is not that "easy" to sand it afterwards. And no PPF is not an additional clear coating when it comes to gloss. It is covering some aspects, but it does not add the amount of gloss that the clear coat does. At 18:10 you can see that on tight angles, the light does not bounce so clearly as on the original clear coat. This is especially true because of the higher thickness of the PPF used on the front. 18:39 Is using a clay bar on a new car necessary? Claying places micro scratches on the paint. This car was new. Yes to chemical decontamination, but no to physical decontamination. Yes, the Ocean trip - between Germany and the USA - may have done some bad things, but not that many, I imagine. Nevertheless, congratulations on the final product! Those headlights are a nightmare, and the end result is top notch.

Curious what the issue is-we got my wife a new Macan S back in October and it was having issues with rough shifts and shudders from the moment we picked it up. They ended up replacing the mechatronics valve body on the transmission which has fixed the issue, but I have read about a lot more PDK failures in new vehicles than I would have expected.
