I’ve had 4 of these through the years and love em. Just a couple of suggestions. Where you mounted the Hook is where a splash guard normally is and the rear is going to get pounded by water I know it’s waterproof but we are talking tons. I would mount it sorta in the middle area closer to the drivers side. Lower the seats closer to the deck you said high could be unstable and you are 100% correct. The battery can be next to that storage box you want to put in the back. All my transducers have been attached to the left rear of the right pontoon plenty of silicone I’ve never had an issue. If you have plastic bolts and nuts holding deck to pontoon (I can’t tell) switch them to stainless. The plastic ones fail and will separate the pontoon from the deck in the water. Ask me how o know. Great work BTW look forward to seeing the whole build

Garmin is a fantastic company. In 2011 a tornado took out half my family, and through the debris we found the head unit from my sisters metal detector. Although it was torn apart, it still powered up. Garmin repaired the unit for free. Its a small company with a great line of products. Congrats on the fish finder

I purchased some seats exactly like that but in Black and White. Then the Pedestals we're too tall and and to reorder some shorter ones. All in all they came out great. I'm having a blast watching all the updates. Can't wait for some more Iddy Biddy 🤙🏻

For the motor mount, add a galvanized steel 1/4 inch thick by 2 inch wide strap with 2 holes drilled for the galv. bolts to go through. It may add more strength to the setup. Round the corners a bit for safety sake if you want.

If it’s stable enough to stand on you could possibly put a whole piece of marine grade plywood down, or something like that, over the deck to close the gap between where the seats mount and the footrest is to make more floor space , and reinforce it so it hangs over the pontoons a little.

One thing to think about with your rod storage behind your seat is clearance for your tiller handle when you have rods stored vertically

Drill a perfect sized hole just behind the seats in the center for your trolling motor shaft to slide up through. Once you take your trolling motor apart in two pieces.when you have it apart. Remove the stern clamp and put a fast release pipe clamp on to raise and lower it into the water. The throttle handle should stick out past your shoulder when your sitting and it’s placement is more efficient for the battery. Maneuvering, and not getting a fish wrapped around it easily

Make sure to put a loop in your transducer cable. That way when you turn the trolling motor or adjust the height, you wont bind up or stretch the cable.

If you put the transducer on the trolling motor you can't use the depth finder at speed. You'll have to pull it in before engaging the big motor.
