Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth these past months. I’ve been struggling a lot with my mental health and it got to a bad point. Sometimes it just gets to be too much and hard to put a face on for the camera so needed to take some time for myself and find a new happiness and figure myself out. Kinda cliché to say but everything is just so much brighter now. I haven’t been this Happy in so long I forgot what it felt like. It’s not easy to reach out and talk about mental health but it is so worth it. Luckily I was able to reach out to close friends of mine and they helped me through it. Please make an effort if you’re ever in a dark spot in life. You are never a burden, you are worth a lot in someone heart even if it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. ❤️ Thank you all! More videos to come and a whole new Zach that I’m excited about 🤙🏼 Love you all!

I agree with this group. That a $50k boat. Don’t under estimate your time you have in the boat. You should be paying yourself a fair amount for the time and effort you have in it. Love the boat man! Thanks for keeping us entertained.
@bgreene0082 жыл бұрын
Reiterating what everyone's saying, practically new and entirely one-of-a-kind, $50k is a legitimate starting point. Especially knowing prices recently! The buyer can also watch its construction from start to finish, qualming any worries they may have about quality.

Bro if I was in the market for a pontoon around that price i would be more than happy to pay 50k for that. That roof alone adds like 10k to the build.

I recently bout a pontoon and decided to go tri-toon as well..I decided to go with carbon fiber instead of aluminum, that way I can add some things to increase the overall appearance of the boat while keeping it lighter in the process.. I'm also doing a 2/3 length canopy top in which half of it would be solor panels that charges the solor generator and the other half of the canopy is for sunbathing and for a slide.... A floorboard compartment in the middle pontoon will house the solar generator that will help keep the battery charged and well power a 32in TV, a custom made ceiling fan, some LEDs, light bars/headlights and taillights equipped with signal lights...It's gonna be epic 😂 Oh by the way I admire the hard work you put into your build it turned out amazing..The black probably really pops in the sunlight

I was glad to see this pop up! I purchased a 1999 pontoon, my first boat, and it needs a re-fresh. I have learned a lot watching you work on yours and helped me understand the scope of work, resources for parts, and rough cost estimates. I have seen other comments on your videos about how you inspire, take on and finish cool projects, and help others along the way. Many people will say all the wrong things, but you are a brave soul to put it out there on YT and show what you like and what you are capable of. Good job my friend, and carry on.

I have followed this project from the beginning. It was a large undertaking for one person. You did a steller job. Are there things I disagree with? Sure but you know what? iT WASN'T MY PROJECT IT WAS YOURS! Awsome job all the way around. When I hear about the negative comments it always surprises me a little bit as I don't read what other people say. Plus I am not on the other media outlets. I suspect they are mostly viewed by a younger, ruder, and less educated people. Sorry to hear about the mental difficulties. I suspect it was pushed along by the media you were reading and taking to heart. That is a problem with the platforms. When you ask for comments you will not always get the comments you are looking for. To be honest here I have been guilty of some negative comments on your channel as well. I apoligize. You see we all carry around demons that get the better of us. I hope to see you on more in the future. I have missed your honest work ethic and your sensabile style of your projects. The VW wasn't my cup of tea but again, it was your project and your finnished product turned out splendid! Keep up the good work and I hope to see you around again real soon!

Nice job on the pontoon. You are very talented and you love what your doing and it really shows through your work and your vids. Kudos to you for standing up for your friends. It's amazing to me how people can make an opinion about something when they only see a small fraction of what they are voicing their opinions on. You have amazing friends and you are an amazing friend yourself. Keep the positive energy flowing and it will cancel out the negative. I really enjoyed your vid. My father once told me something, he said "you can't look inner peace from without. You can only find inner peace from within. We can tell from your videos that you put a lot of pride in your rebuilds and your videos. That sort of passion (from my experience) requires one to be very critical of yourself, eventually never accepting less than 110% in everything you do. Eventually all that energy and self examination will wear you down. You were right to step away for a bit and find your new emotional center.

$40K for this boat compared to others out there. Well, worth and very fair. He forgot to mention the trailer and upgrades on it. Look at other trailers in comparison. Personally, I would have set the price higher. Great video and well done build. 1st time on this channel. Found due to searching rebuild boats. I think you are awesome! You are smart , talented, handsome and very nice. Can’t believe you don’t have dates lined up. Anyway, I’m fascinated with your skill and talent. I’ve watched most of your projects. What a lucrative business you will have for the rest of your life with all you’ve got going for you!! Continue to be your own boss! I live on Lake Norman in NC. I bought a new , very plain 22’ Bentley cruiser last year for about $35,000 It has a 140 hp Suzuki motor(I know that’s a weird size). It’s very simple, only a pontoon, nothing fancy. Your boats are works of art!!!! They are worth MUCH more than an ordinary factory build! I also think your price is low. And your comps were really not anywhere near comparable to your boat. In my humble opinion. People up here love party boats and are willing to pay big bucks for them! I wish you much success!

As a person who buys and resells stuff all the time, The general rule I go by is start your price high. Everyone wants to throw and offer and feel like they got a deal from you. I would start at $60k and take around $50k minimum. All custom work with a very nice upper deck with all the bells and whistles. Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay regardless of market. You wont find a new boat as nice as yours. It literally is brand new regardless of year of title or engine. Just my 2 cents. Yes I understand youtube will kick back some money to you but get the most you can for time and effort.

Zach, I have started my own pontoon rebuild and have incorporated a lot of what you have shown on your videos. One of the things I was curious about, and I apologize if you left the links in a previous video, where did you purchase the hydraulic steering and throttle controls for this build? The prices you mentioned are a lot lower than what I've seen on the web. Do you like the quality of these items? I am hoping to have my rebuild completed for summer of 2023 and this info would greatly increase the chances of me getting it done by then. I sent this to you in and email if you'd rather respond that way. On a side note, I live in Indiana and I visited PontoonStuff's headquarters. They obviously had heard of you and loved the props you give them. They were very helpful as I purchased a lot of the electrical items I needed. I wish I was as confident as you when it comes to actually wiring it all up. First time for everything. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Thanks in advance for your time in getting me this information. Keep up the good work and the great videos.
