Modifying my gramophone and damaging a record!

1:33 I actually did that by putting my finger on the modern record player tonearm on my RCA Victor record. It left a DEEP scratch. (The record was broken anyways)

Not much point reducing the weight without reducing the compliance unless you want to damage your records even more. Nice machine, I had one in oak years ago
