The first KZbinr to get a TRD pro and not immediately rip out the suspension. Thank you. Haha

I never understood why people pay the Pro premium and then get rid of the suspension either. I have a 2023 TRD OR Access Cab like his and I am going to put pizza cutters (255/85R16), C4 high fender kit, sliders, high clearance bumpers (aluminum front & steel tube rear), and aluminum skids. Toyota spends millions on suspension development. I don’t need massive suspension for rock crawling since I am only really planning on Overlanding

Another banger. I really dig the Roam boxes I feel like I need a pair of those for the van. 10/10. Highly recommend as always!!!

I have 2 ROAM 95L boxes on my JLUR. I purchased a 6" conduit carrier end caps and put them on a 6' piece of black PVC. I then mounted that between the 2 boxes and use that to store my camp rugs in. Works great!!!!

Dumb question... The window at the feet... In FL, that would be a godsend. But, in winter... Is there a panel to close, like the other windows?

Great video once again. Love the set up. Question. How would you feel about leaving the trailer at a campsite while taking off in the truck to do some exploring. I was thinking of a set up like this so I wouldn’t have to take down my rtt and pack everything back up to take a drive. Just wondering your thoughts on this . Thank you! Great work once again!!

As much as id like to get into overlanding, living in SWFL there's no place to overland lol other than the state parks. A trailer build out like that would peak my interest.

How hard does the turbo work with the 35s and the towing? Just trying to get a sense of how much strain it’s putting on the engine and transmission.
@Ww8.33 ай бұрын
It’s a small turbo. That thing is always in boost unless it’s downhill 😂
@TacoRancher3 ай бұрын
@@Ww8.3 - I own a trail hunter and drive it daily - I can drive it easily with very little boost .. are you speaking from experience or trolling
@Ww8.33 ай бұрын

@TacoRancher3 ай бұрын
- yes and a max gauge. I look at them all the time. Boost is only needed in medium to heavy acceleration . But my question remains - do you own and daily drive a new Tacoma or are you just speculating on how the drivetrain works ?

@@TacoRancher you asked if the truck is working the turbo with 35’s and a trailer… it’s obviously working.

opinion of the bump stop rubber issue?
@TalonSei4 ай бұрын
The issues I’ve seen are on lower trim trucks with lesser suspension… and the 2 cases I know of were both from abusing driving of the trucks. I’m not worried about it with this truck but at the end of the day there are already easy and inexpensive fixes.

@@greeenteeee Dometic still makes chairs. Maybe not that model, but they do make good products. I just purchased a Nemo Stargazer and Helinox Sunset chair to cut down on storage for my packout. Both are really nice chairs. Not cheap though....

@@greeenteeee the Helinox chars are good and they offer a variety of positions and sizes. The Nemo chair is a hammock chair that is, in my opinion, the Cadillac of portable camp chairs. talon, if you hate wiring as much as i do. cause colorblind ness, you would cringe what i did to my 2nd gen(13) ac same color as your 4th gen mgm. anyway i took out the old alarm/remote start that started dying at the test drive and still brought it home. family tradegy struck a few months ago and 2 days later decided to rip it out myself. literally followed wires and took the entire drivers side out of dash and radio cavity and been like like that for weeks still chasing more wires, if your on instgram can see the pictures.
