Really great rack idea! This is exactly the kind of thing I’ve been wanting Elektron to make. Imagine all of this controlled by a multitrack elektron sequencer with p-locks. Especially if it could send midi out to control their other boxes

you need a module for sending out line level. i used the intellijel so far but i feel monitr is better suited for the task, i love having 2 channel and headphone out.

impossible choice! my two favorite drum machines. The Perkons is more immediate and fun, but the rytm is way more versatile.

I like idea of building a custom mixer but this is a very expensive set of equipment - sounds are quite nice but do you feel the additional potential is a benefit compared to value for money? Just buying a cheap mixer and some posh pedals will get quite a distance it seems

after using this mixer is hard to have the same control and fun with regular ones, BUT obviously a cheap one with pedals can get you anywhere you want. this make sense only if you want automations!

I don’t understand why so many eurorack performers are trying to play eurorack on stage by itself. I feel like it’s like listening to a lone guitarist almost. The synth has more noises but it lacks a band each time. I think 90% of eurorack noises only sounds good to the one twisting knobs and those who knows about eurorack. But I show my brother how proud I am of something and he like honestly it’s bad. I get it a sine wave sounds cartoonish too

dont really get the vibe of this comment. I know modular artist that can blow you away with a couple of sine waves. And I also enjoy bands that do that with a full stack of Marshall amps. If you have something interesting to say, I dont care what you use.

@@OoraMusic lol My bad. In highest standards wouldn't the best "songs" not be very improvised? But I actually I quite like your playing, like you're for sure in that 10%. I just feel like everyone with a euro rack is trying to perform. I'm the only one I see saying my euro rack for recording and effects for other instruments to record through. awesome video
