Modular Mode

In this tutorial, we will explain the basic working of the Modular mode, how to create modular blocks, and how to modify them. You will also learn how to create permutations and combinations with the modular blocks.

We have been looking at this for quite awhile. It is extremely challenging due to the measurements around the waist, crotch and hips.

so what do I need to do to have 2 type of Clothing layering on top using Modular Configurator ? because whenever I try to add the second clothing it will replace my first one with the one I just chose.

Hello. If you Right Click on the Modular block in the background in the 2D window, you will have the option to "Remove Modular Relationship" will be available. Once that is done you can add a new block.

In CLO 3D version 6.0.460 it is not possible to use M:N sewing. Which makes it impossible to sew a shirt like the one in the video. is this some kind of bug?

@@CLO3D Unfortunately, yes. Without M:N sewing, developing complex modular garments is impossible. Is there any other solution?

Modular Mode works on one garment at a time. Construct your first garment, then Right Click in the 2D Window and choose Remove Modular Relationship. This will allow you to create a new Modular Garment.
