I just scored a used VB, and was going through some videos, and the second you started that beat, I got Human League's "Don't You Want Me?" circling through my head. Same drums.

Can't wait to pair mine up with Pamela's New Workout. Pseudo presets for live use!. I also set it to CLK with no input, which allows for 16 banks of 16 static voltage presets when saving/recalling.
@thewakz7 жыл бұрын
You plan on programming your pams while on stage? =\
@pv64967 жыл бұрын
The Wakz Nope. I'll program PNW & VB beforehand, save the presets for recall during live use. Then add all the live tweaking wanted to taste.
@DivKid7 жыл бұрын
Using it as a 16 preset stored voltage system is really powerful too. I love using it like that. Like a huge extension of pressure points.

Does this pair of modules come close / surpass the currently unreleased Pittsburgh Modular - Electronic Sequence Designer 128? I am not euroracking at the moment, but eventually will. However, I am currently in the market for an insane sequencer.

Is it possible to edit the voltage of the steps without hearing the actual voltage while moving the sliders? Like, I want to edit the decay of a drum module in a live situation, so it be ideal to make the edit without hearing it costantly (like adding steps on a drum machine without hearing the steps when you press the pads). Hope I made myself clear with my awful english lol.

Would love an answer to this also.

Either put a switch between the voltage block and the module or a switch after the output if the module

Definitely my next module buy. How important is pairing it with a varigate 8 if i already have a qu-bit rhythm? How much overlapping are we talking?

How does voltage block get synced to rhytm? The clock is not connected
@gregorio980005 жыл бұрын
suanshine it gets the clock from the power bus (has to be connected to the same one as Varigate 8, they pair so well! You can save a pattern on Varigate and it will save the voltage block as well

I completely ignored this duo due to its vague name (isn't everything a voltage block in eurorack?) and not 100% clear use case, but it seems to be popping up e v e r y w h e r e these days and now I understand why. Plays great! I just... I mean that looks like about 46 or 48 hp for both? I just can't possibly 😞
@pv64967 жыл бұрын
NutritionalZero Even just one - the Varigate or Voltage Block add a MAJOR amount to a systems capabilities. Depending on what you need of course.
