First seen on the @Modular World Anniversary show, this performance and video are called Getting Back to Normal.
I had started taking walks at Cherry Creek State Park around the time the vaccine was becoming available. The walks were peaceful, and for a brief time, I felt away from all the worries lurking outside the park. I couldn't entirely escape, but it did help me feel calmer. The flora hadn't woken up, but spring was here.
I think the song can come across as pretty or scary. I thought it was lovely, to be honest, but others get more of a creepy-forest vibe. That wasn't entirely intended, but it does fit exactly how I feel about "getting back to normal."
Please share how this song and video made you feel.
