Linear regulators and LDOs are not exactly the same. LDO stands for Low Dropout and it is a linear regulators that can operate at a low potential difference between input and output. Not all linear regulators are LDOs.

I wish that someone would make packages of things. I thought about it and it's not easy. But I buy assorted packs, so I may but a load of linear and pots, and get random ones, which can work, but you get less of the good ones. But with all the projects, it's hard to make a pack. But I would like a bunch of resistors of various types. LEDs, boost and buck, breadboards, jumpers motor controllers, some small motors.. Then if they were set at price points that would make things easy for what you want to buy. But this then is a repeat buy and lots of unused hardware. So maybe project types may narrow what's in the packs. And a big price pack split into two or three parts? I'm just think out loud as I have children who would be interested in certain projects. Some of the costs of the projects is way too much for what you get and in the most part I have a lot of the parts list. So for a few bits it's not worth it. I think maybe for each project video you could open a eBay shop, make a parts pack and sell them. As if you bulk buy, add a little for yourself and hey presto a business... I would go with base packs first MCB , power, breadboard jumpers. Then all the parts, in any video. Perhaps some PCB end package?

@Electronoobs would you mind doing coverage on your buttons in depth? I'm always hesitant to purchase them on eBay because I don't have an idea of actual size. Those tactile switches don't work well in finished projects unless you have a way to make a cap that goes over them. Maybe some tips there if you know any..

@boblewis55584 жыл бұрын
Just Google for suitable LM317 circuits e.g. variable LM317 circuit. Similarly for the PWM LED circuit. Many of the circuits shown are, as was implied, readily available on eBay. If you don't want to learn how to build such circuits, just to use them just search eBay and/or Banggood and/or Ali Express for whatever you want. Use different desciptions and check out the "people also viewed" sections for other ideas.
