How do you glue the windows into place without the glue bubbling around the edges and messing everything up?

I hold the windows tight in place and just go around the outside edges with my glue applicator.

I actually tried with probes as well, and same results as the copper tape for some reason. 2v drop with everything hooked up. It's only all powered correctly when using plugs with wires.
