As much as you hate it (the plot), ironically you'll slowly liking it and wanted more of it. Only to make you wonder and anticipating how he'll do it next times.

@@JosepiThe13th I don't have any problem with the story and I do agree it's amazing, I just hate seeing the characters that I growing to like died. Most of the time I love playing Honkai Impact 3rd than HSR, mostly known by the fans as Depression Impact on the first half of the storylines if you ask them. it's an amazing journey I tell ya. I already grew and to much used with the copium, I just have love and hate relationship with his writing style. I just hope (even though it might be hopelessly small chance he will change his styles) there won't be too much depression in HSR (which might be not, since I just triggered the flag and the stories gonna be more worse, much death, and depressing).

yeah he like to do bait and switch first kill the characters than revealed they're not actually dead than kill them again and this time they actually dead(liteally what happen in star rail rn but maybe this time it has different kind of end who knows) .. he also did the script for chapter 9 of HI3rd where Himeko got killed.(if I remember it correctly)

He has written all the best arcs of HI3rd, at this point if his best arc, Elysian Realm is 10/10, even the infamous Himeko scene is only at most 8/10 in comparison. Elysian Realm is so far above everything else that it is incomparable at this point. Penacony if he sticks the landing, it might end with a 6/10, that's how high the standard he has set in HI3rd. The best arcs in Genshin has reached 9/10 at most, but nothing can reach the 10/10 of Elysian Realm. Also it's not about killing characters, it's about the sacrifices made by the characters, the extreme lengths they would go to fight for what they believe.

@@JosepiThe13th If you don't read, anything can be a 0/10. Literally the biggest complaint about HI3rd right now is that the story has declined since ER, that Genshin has better story since Sumeru, and we know the reason now, it's because Shaoji is working on HSR instead of HI3rd. HI3rd part 2's story is being written by a science focused writer which results in a lot of jargon and bloated dialogue with a lot less relatability and emotional attachment. HI3rd peaked from Fuhua's arc through Kolosten to Elysian Realm and never got better, Finale ever caused an outrage because people didn't read and couldn't understand it even when read. Ever since then Genshin is seen as the current best writing in Hoyoverse with Sumeru and Fontaine hitting 9/10s and continuing to get even better.
