I heard these at Axpona. They are amazing. Andrew played Chocolate Chip Trip by Tool as one of the demo songs. I was worried if my 100 watt Rogue Amp would do them justice as Andrew was running the 400 watts for the demo, but this video has put me at ease. Mine arrive later this week. Can't wait.

Best 5k speaker on the market. Staggering performance. Dynamic and detailed. Not bright or fatiguing. I would take these over many cost no object speakers.

I have a theater room that i use for two channel as well. i would love to get these speakers . couple of questions would they work well in a theater environment .and what could i do for a center channel .I run snell B minors and snell XA55cr for center as my front stage. i guess i could run the 888 as mains like i want and keep the center i have now .. but would like something to be voice matched for better sound on the theater side .. thank you for any imput

Will these work with VTL tube amplifiers? Some speakers make the bias jump all over the place.

That’s a tough question for us to answer. Your best bet would be to consult VTL.

We have a huge love for Fyne Speakers. The technology that they included in the SP speakers are phenomenal! That being said the 888 is also blowing our minds! I think you could take ether with a primaluna and be happy for life. What’s best for you just depends on what flavor of ice cream you like better! I love female vocals on fyne, and I love the deep bass on the 888!

First pair of Andrew Jones speakers that I really like what they look like. I dont think the "Kryton" faceted face works on the more square 2 way MoFi's and Elac were built to a price sacrificing aesthetics for accustics.=----------

Well I will say I envy you then in the UK. Here in the US probably 90% of non-food goods are made in China. I mean not all from China, some Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. Even still it might be 90%. So for me at that point it's like, I'm going to make a stand over audio equipment when everything else around me is made in China? It's a drop in the bucket. I mean I'm not buying these now anyway lol, I don't have an extra $5k unfortunately. I totally would buy them though. Erin audio corner said he thinks they are better than $10k/pair bookshelfs he's tested and really just a hair below $30k/pair towers. Both Focal if I remember. That's pretty incredible value.
