Decided to show chat something different, my own incredibly close Mogador game in Ranked, broken down and explained. The Yugumo player later accused me of cheating.

@Biden_is_demented
@Biden_is_demented 3 жыл бұрын
So that´s what they call ´using OP ships´ these days? Sorry, but logic and awareness takes a back seat when a destroyer outguns a cruiser. This isn´t an example of logic, it is an example of pay-to-win and power creep. Winning a game while using an underpowered ship, that is skill, and awareness. Winning the same game with op ship is just math, because you can fuck up every decision you make and still come out on top. The numbers win every time. It´s like a Ferrari driver saying he used knowledge of the track and car mechanics to win a race against a Volkswagen.

@@herrroin6774 Nice of you to only focus on half of what i said. Of course, the rest of the sentence went over your head, eh? And of course, a 54kn destroyer doesn´t bother you, or that it has better guns than most cruisers. Nice to see you are so "balanced" minded. And considering that the average player may never get to unlock these ships, it is also nice of you to conveniently forget that you can buy your way up the tiers, something the average player cannot, which is the definition of pay-to-win. All in all, very nice of you. /whoooosh
@herrroin6774
@herrroin6774 3 жыл бұрын
@@Biden_is_demented Well, even a ship like Mogador that has excellent speed and good guns requires skill to play, unlike other ships (FDR f.e.) which require much less if not even none skill and knowledge of gamemechanics to score good results. Furthermore buying up the way to a certain ship doesn’t give you the skill to perform well in it. What you’re saying is that everything that can be achieved with money (not caring if it can be achieved without money) is pay-to-win. And why is the average player incapable of spending money on the game? /quityourbullshit

it's damn impressive to me that you can analyze/keep track of/consider so many different things at once even while engaged in combat. I can see situations developing on the minimap while watching replays, I can understand the thoughts behind your decisions as you explain them, but I don't think I could do all of what you've been doing here nearly as well as you do in the heat of the moment while actually playing myself. maybe it's the severe difference in level of experience between someone who has been playing this game for hours per day for years and players who either don't have the time or the inclination to play more than a couple of hours per week (or even less).

Pretty sure the only reason the Yugumo would've accused you of cheating isn't because they thought you were aimbotting or something like that. They probably just saw that your health was effectively zero at the end of the match and assumed that was due to some kind of invunerability rather than getting lucky with the Alsace's secondaries. Really solid breakdown of how your thought process works during a match though, would appreciate something like this for Light/Heavy Cruiser and Battleship matches to help people realise if they're doing things wrong.

In both of these scenarios "Get back" was a very ambiguous command. The first friendly Yugumo was already kiting away when you gave the order to "Get back" which he probably interpreted as "Get back in this fight with me to 2vs1 the other DD". The though process in his head was probably "I am already kiting back, why else would he tell me to "Get back"?" especially considering that he was kiting towards the enemy spawn. The second time was a similar scenario. They probably interpreted the "Get back" as a "Turn around and defend the capture point" because they were already kiting back and you spammed the command. Spamming gives a sense of urgendcy like they are doing something wrong at the moment. Your team was not great, but honestly your quick chat commands did not help at all. Especially the second time you had the time to type a better command. You have to work with the teammates that you have.

For me, every game somehow with matchmaker I have ALL idiots on my team, and ALL smart players on the other team. You'd think the law of averages would dictate that sometimes I'd have some of the smart players, I never do. When I kill anything less than 6 enemies myself, I get a loss. WTF is wrong with matchmaker.

@@Matthew10950 Agreed, matchmaking is biased. It GUARENTEES if you have low win rate you'll never be put on a team with above average players, even if you are a very good player. It also is biased against divs of 2 people, and super biased against newer players learning the game together.

Yeah, this is the RANDOM RANKED players that don't really understand what are their ships capabilities. Misplayed and just suicide all the time because the brain stop thinking😥. Especially some people are so LAZY to read & analyze the MAP! For those who set the map in big size and always watch situation anytime. Well I'm really RESPECT! #PotatoesEverywhere By the way, Thankyou Captain Flamu for the breakdown, Well explained!👍😊

Replay system bugs have existed in this game since time immemorial. You often see guns not turned completely toward a target, but still shooting at it. People used to think that was an indication of cheating.
