I first heard Mogwai at a mates house party in the late 90s, they continue to put out absolute bangers man. Cheers lads

Some reason I have had mogwai on my mind. Couldn't even remember their name, just remembered the mood. Can't believe they are still capturing that uniquely human feeling.

What a breathtaking song! It's truly heartbreaking that Mogwai aren't performing in Poland during this year's tour. I simply can't believe there aren't enough Mogwai fans here-there are so many of us who adore your music! Why do you skip our country? Back in my university days, I traveled all the way from Cracow to Berlin just to see you live, and to this day, it remains the most unforgettable concert of my life. But nowadays, I can't afford such trips anymore. Please, Mogwai, come to Poland someday. We love you, we miss you, and we can't wait to experience your music live again!! You rock guys!!

Not a bad song, but it's been a long time since they've released something as memorably great like Helicon 1, Mogwai Fear Satan, My Father My King, etc. The last album that resembled that sound was The Hawk Is Howling. I know they as a continuously evolving band don't want to repeat themselves again and again, it's just that their best music has already been created. Regardless, I'll always support them.
@janrychly665110 күн бұрын
I loved Every Country's Sun, perhaps not similiar to their early albums, but it has great tracks (Coolverine, Fife, Country's Sun, and mysterious Aka 47).
@alexandercurtis212510 күн бұрын
@janrychly6651 None of their later albums do I consider bad by any means. I think for me it's more about the songs that got me into them, and that was around the late 90s and early 2000's. Regardless of that, I'm still very happy that they're rocking to this day and I hope to see them live again soon. Cheers!
@DerTelefonman18 сағат бұрын
@@alexandercurtis2125 you're looking more into "getting the same feeling" you had at that time and thus wont get it now. The feelings of the past wont come back. Imagine they played the same song structures for 25 years. Embrace your past, so you can open up for the now and the future.

This latest album is said to have been inspired by a series of tough personal moments that the band found themselves in. The underlying feeling of hope and victory that course through this song can perhaps be interpreted as the band surviving those dark times and coming out the other side.
