The democratic process is Islamic it’s the rule by the people by the people part which is Kufr, however Islamic democracy holds the law of Allah above all laws and none can be changed by people. It’s the first rule of the charter. It’s a tool, and the prophet SAW used different means that were plausible from his time and used that system to make change. All the khulafa were chosen differently, which shows that the process can be different yet the main goal is to implement the will of Allah on Earth.
