He should have won the Ballon D’Or twice by now once for taking LFC to the title with his overall contribution where he was the best player in the Premiership by far. Then again for his goal scoring feats. Messi and CR7 should never have won 7 and 8 they were never good for 7 seasons and 8 seasons. When Messi won it over VVD the look on his face said it all. But as a footballing great he should declined and given it to VVD but NO his greed came out and he accepted it even though he knew was not the true winner that year. There have many footballers who were better than these two but the biased Fifa award system gave it to these two. Salah is constantly ignored by FIFA for this award sad really when FIFA is rife with corruption anyway.
