There is nothing to proud of the team. All that matters is winning the world cup. Thats what champions are made of. In any event if the World cup becomes a Knock out tournament, we are not built to handle pressure situations. The proof is in the performance in knockouts in the past few world cups. Yes, we were the most dominant and consistent, but its the winners trophy that matters at the end, and Australia showed us why they handle pressure better. Also, the key here is that all other countries know the Indian conditions very well, thanks to the IPL. If India needs to win any overseas world cups, BCCI needs to permit our warriors to play in overseas T20 leagues..

I think Indian bowlers missed some tricks, they could or must have bowled some slower bouncers, bouncers and yorkers as more they can. But they stuck to just good line length bowling which worked for us in the whole tournament but today when they realized that good line , length bowling is not working for us and turn was also not there in the pitch then they should have tried something different like south africa did in their semi final match and they almost got them. On the other hand aussies bowlers bowled bouncers and slowed and that worked for them. Indian bowlers should have done something different against marnus and head like aussies did. Siraj tried some bouncers against head but they are not on a good line length. Bumrah bowled very well in this whole tournament. Salute to Rohit and shreyas for their selfless batting performance in whole tournament😓😓❤❤

Shreyas Iyer scored zero in the final game FYI! He along with Gill were the two most invonsistent players in the tournament. The only two players because of whom we were able to put up a decent score pf 240 were KL Rahul and Kohli. Rest of the team were playing God knows what game!
